after all the trouble i had with Bespin lukes Holster, I am concerned. Must desiign a better way of attaching the legstrap to the holster...hmmm.... TO THE SKETCHBOOK!

I have found that (don't gasp) crazy glue does great on the legstrap. My Bespin Han's broke a while ago and last night (after receiving the repainted head from Josh) I glued it together and it looks great and its really (I mean REALLY) sturdy.

Well, the sculpt is great, too bad about those "Hoff" aka Hasselhoff proto paint apps but I'm happy to see the Outfit is well tailored and the overall extras are cool.

This may be the first ever pre-order flood of repaint requests, and it will be worth it IMO. Trevor's sculpt deserves the best possible work.

Anyway, I love my DA repainted Han but I will get this and have the option of 2 heads and 2 outfits to work with.

Congrats Trevor, I reserved comment until I saw the unpainted sculpt for obvious reasons, I hope the SSC factory Ops does it justice but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm considerinf using a leather punch and putting two holes in the bottom of the holster, and just feeding the strap through them....

I'd have to agree. I think the paint apps here look pretty darn good, and probably realistically what we can expect in our hands... at least I hope.

I think SS has gotten more realistic in its Proto Paint Apps, particularly with the hair coloring, which can really make a figure shine when focused on by one artist but isn't necessarily what you get back from guys in China.

Obi-Wan is the BIG test of course, as every photo on him has been excellent. I'm so curious what we are really going to get. I hope it's close.

Someone should do a side by side by side pics of

Han Film Ref Pic, Trevor's Unpainted Han Sculpt and Proto Painted Han...

The unpainted sculpt looks just like Han, the painted proto is substandard and doesn't do it justice IMO. Especially the eyebrows and eyes.

A good paint job should reflect the sculpt, not distort it.

It looks like the folks who said "wait and see" were right. The paint looks a lot better in these new pics. I guess I should apologize to the painter for saying he should apologize to Trevor. Once again, TheObsoleteMan eats a big ol' plate of crow.

Glad to see they have already fixed the eye color. Exclusive is a good choice and I'm glad we are getting gloved hands too. It is just too bad there isn't a head set or the classic "Ford finger" hand - you know, the finger he points at anyone he is mad at in all of his films? Maybe Indy will have it?

That looks great! I'm not the biggest fan of Han Solo but this is a must have even if I wasn't getting them all. Totally worth getting and the struggle that will ensue to get it.
