Wor-Gar, did you copy and paste that and Sideshow later corrected it, or did you mistakenly type that in?
I'd love for Han to come with three different blasters, but I'd be more then happy with just the two.

Unless someone photoshopped these pics, it looks like they've already adjusted the paint.

I'm leaning towards paint touchups, the differences seem too extreme to indicate that the original shot was all from photoshop effects.

Speaking of Photoshop, per Paul's request, I put this together. We have Han from a promotional image, Trev's great bare sculpt image, a good closeup of the Prototype, and then another copy of the Proto shot where I faked some Shadowing trying to emulate the promo image to show off the impact of lighting on both the figure and Ford himself.

I just copied and pasted what I saw on the blog. It's gone now?!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Thanks Sean. Very cool of ya!

Yeah, I still hold when an unpainted sculpt looks far better (dead on in this case) than a painted sculpt, the paint apps are substandard. It should reflect and compliment the sculpt, not distort it. Seems obvious to me anyway as seen here; the eyebrows, eyes don't follow the sculpt.

And again, Congrats to Trevor, that Sculpt is extraordinary! :D

nobody else saw it, Greg...you're just going nuts

:)
Trev

You lie!

:D

I swear to god, I got the email, clicked the link, went to the Prod Blog and just cut and pasted what was there. I was excited to see that 3 guns were being offered. I even posted that -- 3 guns!

Obviously, this is some kind of mass conspiracy out to discredit me.

:D

This is what I cut-and-pasted:

And this is what I said in my excitedment on page 63:

3 guns! And the gloves! And a drink!

WA-HOO! Now that's the way to package these guys!

Now it's gone. All gone. Sad monkey cries.

WHY? WHY?

I think it's much so the lighting of the photos more than the quality of paint. I don't think the pictures of ANH Leia look all that much like Carrie Fisher on Sideshow's product page, but man is it her when you hold it in hand, and I have a strong feeling when I get my Han Solo and can light it more favorably, it'll make Trev's sculpting shine in conjunction with the paint apps.

Sideshow has done this before. For example I remember one figure listed with quite a few accessories. When that item shipped, it was missing a few of them. When I checked the Sideshow ordering page, they had magically vanished.

Personally, I really hate it when Sideshow does that because I have felt that the only accessory that is guarenteed now is the exclusive. For a minute I thought Leia's Death Star Plans had been dropped because they weren't in the production pics. Luckily they were included though.

It could be worse, Sarah Connor had a banded wristwatch included on the friggin box art and they didn't include it. :lol

YES! They did this with Sarah Connor -- NO WATCH, but it's even on the box pictures!!!!

Come one SS -- put the blaster back in. PLEASE. You got the mold from Leia. Just blast out a few thousand more for Han. It was there. Come on... I really don't want to start a petition. :D

That sucks, three blasters would've put this over the top.
Please put the Stormie blaster back in with Han Sideshow!!
:monkey2

I wish SS would start to make the exclusives worth it.A stormtrooper belt would be insane and reason to buy from them direct.(yeah good CS direct)But something like that would make preorder day much more fun,so i will buy from cheaper outlets unless a real cool exclusive is in the mix.
