Hey, Thanks Jerry. The sculpts are great and I am having a great time using my new camera to photograph them.

I figure you will probably will get these in the mail on Monday or Tuesday. I'm sure you'll enjoy them as much as I am.

And yes... I will be documenting how these come together on this thread. It's nice of you to keep checking in here and commenting.

Great news Jerry! It sounds like you are liking them as much as I am. I haven't worked on anything new yet every time I mean to start on anything I get distracted by how good they are.

I did find a great many stills for reference material for their uniforms. Here is a link:

I was browsing hats and came across this one...under GI Joe dress hats on ebay: Vintage GI Joe Navy Dress Hat (note that I wanted to paste a link here, but it didn't work and it pasted the description instead)...

That hat looks close but I think I will try and make them on my own. There is no guarantee that the Joe hat will fit the heads properly.

I will try to sculpt the bottom portion and visor and I will be trying to make the upper portion out of cloth.

Here is a quick shot of the bottom portion of Bud's Hat. It still needs to be cleaned up and sanded but so far I think it is coming together well
