I noticed that this writer (who also wrote Pride, Prejudice and Zombies) is co-writer on Dark Shadows. I heard an interview with him this last week on his adapting his own novel for the screen, and has me even more intrigued.

If it follows the book, it would cover Lincoln's entire life. Not sure how they can pull that off in a 2 hour movie though.

It covers his whole life at a pretty break-neck pace, so I think they shouldn't have too much trouble fitting most of it into the movie.

They're definitely going to make some changes though. One thing I've heard but haven't been able to confirm:

There will be no Edgar Allan Poe in the movie.
:monkey2

The screenwriter talked at Wondercon about some pretty major changes he made from the book. They showed a clip of an action set piece that was fantastic and it's a story element that isn't in the book. He also created a main villain, which isn't in the book.

It really does look like a fun watch. Second trailer has got me alot more interested.

Haha, that looks like a fun movie. Hope they follow it up with George Washington: Zombie Slayer.

Though I didn't see Dark Shadows, from what I understand the story wasn't good at all.

Sorry, this just looks ridiculous.

Up next: George Washington: Alien Killer

You're right! Hugh Jackman should've played Abe Lincoln, then it would've been really awesome! :D

Oh....and George is a Zombie Killer.

Ben Franklin killed aliens.

:yess:

Timur Bekmambetov (yes, I had to Google his name) is the only reason I would want to see this. I'm a fan of both Day Watch and Night Watch.
