ACI Toys: 1/6 ARAGORN (Improved Production Copy updated!)

It's far better than some Hot Toys figures I've seen for the same price. Still not quite right, but it's certainly close enough for me. Lighting can make a decent sculpt look bad too when so close, and seeing as that is the only picture I've seen where it looks not quite, it's fine for me, as I still think it looks damned good.

It's just how I was taking the photos, trying to get Andúril in the shot too. Wasn't trying to hide anything. I have no need to, I didn't make it. I'll take some close ups in daylight when I can...

Sculpt isn't perfect (is there such a thing?) but the likeness is still very good. Don't get all this about the wrinkles? Can't say I've took much notice of it.

On most photos the wrinkles on his forehead seem set VERY deep.

Yep the entire figure as it stands is still stock, i have just futzed with it, a lot of the hair is around the back hidden in the hood so gives me an idea of what i need to cut off

fantastic to hear. Think I will do the same when mine arrives, so can gauge what needs to be cut off - long time since I've been this giddy about receiving a new figure and all these pictures I'm getting more and more so lol

Pics are looking nice. I don't know what the run on this one ended up being, but I can see this being a much sought after figure in the future. Will have to see how the Asmus version turns out, but if they are differentiated enough I'll have both in the collection.

so far i dont like the pics. Its funny because peeps on this forum are some of the most critical when it comes to a 1/6 sculpt, yet this has gotten a pass by many. I dont get it. For the price of the fig, the sculpt should be better. As for the rest, its looks good, the gear and clothes etc.. look well made

Got it from ebay. I ordered the ringwraith today after I'd received Aragorn - really impressed with ACI. Never had something made by them before so if they are only going to make two LOTR figures, I figured it was best to get both.

The hair on Aragorn is like a wild beast. Needs serious taming.

Those were exactly my thoughts. If these are their only two releases, then I want them both. My Ringwraith is coming tomorrow.
