Brad Pitt is sooooo much better than Tom Cruise. Snatch, assassination of Jesse James, fight club, seven. He was incredible in all of them. Assassination was seriously some of the best collective acting I have ever seen.

As I said, not a bad actor by any means, but to me, he's always Brad Pitt. Same with Tom Cruise. Plenty of fine performances, but he's never made me forget that I'm watching Tom Cruise. Just my opinion though.

How is he very, very over-rated? I don't think anyone thinks he's Oscar material... he gets through his movies reasonably well and he's landed some decent roles in very decent movies.

I think that Clooney is very accurately rated as a pusssy magnet. I didn't realize they put him in movies for other reasons.

I know what you mean, even though Clooney has been nominated 8 times (4 actor, 2 writing, 1 director, 1 producer), I don't think he's great He's not one of those "Oscar actors" like Tom Hanks , Sean Penn or DDL for some reason. I think even Dicaprio gets more respect from people (not the Oscars) as a great actor.
