Haha, apparently this got attempted to be deliver yesterday but neither I or my apartment manager was home so they are delivering it today. I guess I will be home for lunch to try and grab it. If it is has bad eyes it is going back instantly.

Yea the only reason I am being particular is I don't NEED this statue. I was gonna cancel but they converted it a day early SO I guess I will keep it for now but not if there is even the slightest issue.

damn laptop hard drive crashed on me last night and it's got a corrupted volume, gonna have to get an enclosure to try and get most of the data off of it and just blow it away with a full format to get back the partition... This sucks, gonna have to go to the PC place today at lunch. I DO NOT NEED TO SPEND money on this

I do, I have several including the beast that I'm on right now. Working from home on it.


This laptop if mainly my wife's and she was photoshopping some wedding photos that she didn't save to the main external hard drive that I have here at the house, so I got see about getting those off there before I blast the volume away and do a complete format with a new OS.

Ahh yea coo. There are a couple freeware programs you could try to get the data off yourself first before trying to pay. I would toss that drive anyways, I cannot count the amount of times I have had that happen to a harddrive, reformat and then 6 months later it happens again.

Yea I understand that all too well.

Well the problem is that the OS doesn't even appear to the machine so there's no networking what soever for a Application to rip data off of it. The System Recovery Options chkdsk runs and says that it completes and fixes the errors but same thing happens all over again. I've ran Seagate tools on it to repair the corrupt sectors but if you run the test again after it says it's repaired they are still corrupted and they are the same sectors over again.

So I was going to take the HD out of the laptop put it in a 2.5 enclosure with USB and rip the files I needed off, that's if my other machines can see the partition on the 2.5 drive.

Which it should be able to since it's NTSF

Got my She-Hulk today...has a TERRIBLE lazy eye, it is MISSING THE PRINT and there was no plastic bag to wrap the inner art box so that was scratched to ????!!!

This one is going back, don't want another. I just hope Mystique and Scarlet Witch are much better!
