I've noticed that as well. The TrueTypes (regular and narrow sholdered) seem to have it, but the others (black aside), including their licensed figures, don't.

Off the top of my head, Jack Sparrow's the only licensed portrait I can think of with a mix of tones, thankfully as it's a really defining trait of him with his dirt and all.

Hey Sean, I love that Hi-Res Sideshow photo. Are they offering pics in Hi-Res again?

They never stopped, but it's always been that only certain people have access to them and you have to hope someone with that access shares them on here. Someone with access posted the Indy ones back around Comic Con.

I passed on POTC so I wouldn't know. :lol I'm surprised they don't use it more though as, IMO at least, it looks a lot nicer than the sickly looking tones. I think they might've also used it on the Stark headsculpt but need to doublecheck.

It was nice when you could just view them on their site... bummer when they dropped that option.

The only time I know of that option is when they first revamped the product pages and website, they had the option, was there ever another time besides that when non-privileged folks could get access?

Yep that was the time... also seems that in the past the images were larger. Now when I look at product images they are always small :monkey2

That I haven't noticed, they seem to be the same size to me, even if they're smaller, the level of gained detail is still amazing so it's fine with me.

Thank you Sean. I hope you'll be more conscientious in the future. :rock

Well if I sleep at least you're there to point it out.

The body does seem to have a propensity to slouch however. It's difficult to make it stand up very straight, which is fine for Piett, but I was wondering if that is inherent to the design, or maybe mine suffers from scoliosis.

I found that with my Toht. And it's not that the body is loose, it's like it's too tight--almost like there's an internal rubber band running vertically up the body that's on too tight and pulls the upper body down. I can manage to stand him up straight, but his natural inclination is to slouch.

Anyone else notice this?

I also have Indy and Belloq who are both on Pros and they don't have that problem.

I think part of the posture issue with the Pro, which is corrected on the new version, is the complete lack of ass, the body basically runs towars the front from the back of the shoulders down to the hips. It has an unnactural shape from a profile.

Alright so I had some fun posing Admiral Piett, and here were the results:
