I orderd an Admiral Piett 12" figure at a localshop but haven't seen much photo's of him to see if he is worth the €80,-
Is there someone that has photo's of the figure?

Finally got the figure today (was pooling a bunch of stuff to save on shipping at BBTS). Really like it overall, but a couple of quibbles:

a) If you are going to do a plastic hat bloody well make certain that the colour matches the cloth.

b) The cloth itself is another problem. The uniform is well tailored but should have been made from a polyester like the original. Cotton has too much weight and texture and the bulkiness really shows on the right shoulder. I might make a pattern by disassembling the outfit someday and sew a new one in a better material.

c) WTF is with the frosted pink lips?

I got mine from Viking yesterday and I went ahead and repainted the eyes first thing. I still need to futz with the hat a bit.

Well finally got this guy the other day, got to say I'm a little let down with this figure, overall the likeness isn't quite there lack of accessories the old man short PRO body & the uniform is a little cheap esp compared Pradj, havig said that once given a little futz it does make a nice figure overall, but I'm glad I got this one discounted

Praji is a better figure, but still Piett is cool.

He is a little on this side of "too short" but other than that he looks great...

i never was into this figure that much, just now I'm trying to bash some imperials together from my old hasbro figures. honestly, i wasn't impressed with the material chosen. to me it looks nothing like the material that was actually used in the film. that said anyone have a couple extra of the caps, preferably the hard ones? also could use a set or 2 of the boot (with the pegs).

To Buy or not to Buy, That is the question

Hey I need some opinions on whether or not I should buy Sideshow's Admiral Piett in 1/6 scale and/or Sandtrooper Squad Leader in 1/6 scale. Anyone have any good pics?

Chill out dude. It's been answered 3 times. Every figure has at least 2 threads, sometimes 3. The "discussion" thread, the "Official Pictures" thread. etc... Look around. Your repetitiveness in this thread and the Han blaster thread comes off as, well impatient to be kind, and probably annoying to not be kind.

Bottom line is, if you want it and it fits in your collection...get it. Just cause I think it's cool doesn't mean you will. And if I think it sucks, it doesn't mean you will.
