What this guy is doing isn't even imaginative enough to be called a prank video. He just invades someone's personal space, then refuses to leave when people take exception to it. Disturbing people going about their business, and done in a way that is designed to intimidate, provokes a reaction you think is funny?

You keep comparing this to Borat, and it just isn't in the same league. Borat exploited the perceived prejudices, narrow-mindedness and ignorance of a particular group of people in the way they responded to his character. It wasn't to everyone's taste, but the way he went about it undeniably took some imagination and creativity.

Picking up your iphone and plonking yourself down opposite some guy who's pleading with you that he's having a private conversation and to go away, and then steadfastly refusing to do so, is funny in the most puerile, juvenile and half-witted way imaginable.

Oh look, ha ha, those people are getting pissed off because some random guy is invading their personal space and he's refusing to leave them alone. Ha ha, isn't it funny that their day has been interrupted by unpleasantness.

There is a huge difference between all of those other shows/movies and this guy. They had to either pay for or get video release forms. This guy is doing this without anyone's permission. Also most look to be filmed on private property.
