Re: After seeing "The Avengers" again on Blu Ray/DVD, who is your favourite Avenger?

Then why did she post a link to an out-of-context fragmented interview and then take issue with the fact that it made him look bad? :lol

Nevertheless I'm glad to see that he didn't go full prima dona and that he did appreciate dealing with the (still awesome) hand that was dealt to him.

It's an old story that's buried and I didn't want to take the time to try and find it. I tried, but I couldn't find the whole thing. Anyone who watched any of the promo interviews all these guys did for Avengers would know how much fun they all had making it.

Now if RDJ *****ed about it, after making 50 million+, you have my permission to bash him bigtime, no matter how much I love the guy.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off, but I have to protect ma boy from the haters. :D

Wow 4 pages arguing about a funny trailer poking fun at a movie.

Sometimes I forget how sad it can be here.

Is that what we're arguing about? :lol

I liked it. I thought it was funny. They make those for most of the popular movies out.

Laughed so much at this honest trailer, "LEATHER BOOBS" :rotfl

LOL That is fantastic. I tend to let myself be oblivious to stupid things in a movie but I did catch on to the talking to eachother without a communication device thing. That was just a plain awful error.

In any case...when I saw it in the theatre, I enjoyed it as a "leave your brain in the car and watch some pretty explosions and DAT ASS" movie. I was 100% correct in my assumption. But it left me not remembering a damn thing that happened in the movie except for the major "stuff"...but, as a loyal sheep, I bought the Blu-Ray. Watched it last night and ya, it was enjoyable but really not a flick that leaves me wanting more. Like Thor and Captain America, it was good but I'll probably watch it a total of 2 more times until another Avengers movie comes out.

My vote: DAT ASS as that was the only part that had my undivided attention.

45th time posted? 59th? I lost count.

It bears reposting I guess. I'll rate it three jawless Ebert smiles out of one frozen Hawking smile.

That is soooo bad! :lol

I'm laughing so hard at the Avengers Haters video. That little girl needs a sibling so she can experience what it's like to have a brother/sister.

What's this about Renni? Yes, I voted for Hawkass because he's a bamf. That article with crazy out-of-context quotes is crazy. I remember the actual interview and Renni took the role gladly. He just didn't expect to play a baddie that didn't get to really have much self-examination time. He hopes his character will get the chance later on because that's what he really enjoys about the role. Whomever wrote that dumb article didn't take the whole interview into consideration so it makes Renni seem like an a-hole. He's not. And judging by the extra footage and behind the scenes stuff for the Avengers, he had the time of his life filming. It must have been fun to be a 5 year old again.

:ted

Oh, I guess I'll add a bit about the communicator thing. I figured they had thingies sewn into their uniforms so they wouldn't have to worry about crap falling out of their ears. Ya know, like little speakers and mics in their collars. Even if it's not true, it made my brain hurt less so I could focus on the booty.

Appears so. I didn't watch the Batman one but I'd say both of them give haters of each more ammo. Both films were good and for me and my dollar The Avengers was the best. If folks want to disagree thats fine but I really don't give a darn.

The last line of the TDK one is, "Aw, who are we kidding. This movie is freaking badass." Or, something like that.

Unlimited hater ammo cancelled. :lecture

One thing I noticed watching it on BD: What's with the glistening biceps in this movie? It looks like everyone's arms are covered in baby oil, even when their faces are dry.

It's hard work flexing all day. If you were a badass mofo, you'd know that.

Re: After seeing "The Avengers" again on Blu Ray/DVD, who is your favourite Avenger?

I watched this movie since I got it on blu ray last night. Black Widow was 10x more awesome. Thank god Whedon made her a bad ass and gave her character more to do than just look hot like she did in Iron Man 2.

Not understanding all the Cap love to be honest. When my friends saw the movie in theaters almost everyone said he was the most boring. I don't think he's too bad but now I can see where they are coming from.

Iron Man and Hulk were still just as great.

My wife *cracks up* everytime BW jumps on an enemy's shoulders while fighting them. It would make a good drinking game. :lol

It's alright Khev, all it will probably take is for Stark to redesign the guy's helmet and voila!
