Loved the episode and love the series. It's one of my favorites on TV. Did this get picked up yet for a 2nd season?

I think it's been confirmed that she's in it. I know on IMDB she's got a credit, and googling it more, I found an article that said Joss wrote a part for Peggy in AOU.
I'd guess it's Scarlet Witch related but who knows. Can't wait either way

ABC is calling it a Limited Series and there is a possibility that it'll get a second season. I hope it does.

Yeah I hope they bring it forward a few years each season.... I would like to see Arnim Zola show up and have him as a POV character, showing his secret Hydra activities and the circumstances surrounding Howards 'death'

I really liked the season finale.

I loved the fight scene between Peggy and Dottie.

The end when Jarvis gave Peggy Steve's blood and when she dumped it at the bridge was emotional and made me misty eyed.

Seeing Toby Jones reprise his role as Zola at the end was awesome!

This show was so awesome. If they leave it at a mini series then they couldn't have done better. However, if this show is overlooked by abc for some of their other God awful shows, that would be a crime. It deserves to keep going. Better than most of the garbage on tv today.

Doubt they would top this, plus they would ruin it by trying to give it rooted hair. I seriously doubt they would have gone to the trouble and expense of filming that last scene if it wasn't going to lead to something else. Marvel and DC never worried about copying each other in print. It defies logic that DC wouldn't take a similar path with their cinematic universe.

If AoS (aka PoS) got renewed for a 2nd season, it'd be a damn shame if ABC doesn't pick this one up for another season. I'm not so sure this show has enough legs to go for more than 2 mini seasons but so far it's been a really polished and well done show, certainly far better executed than AoS.

I think Ant-Man is going to open a whole new area with Cold War Era Shield action. There is so much potential here, a Howling Commandos series, Agent Carter, can take on Lyle Dekker, Heinrich Zemo, Russian characters like Red Guardian, Anton Vanko, as well as some early Kree close encounters.

A Baron Blood backstory would be cool.

There is so much untapped potential in this show.

I'm impressed with how much world-building they accomplished given their budget.

And Atwell absolutely owns this role . . . she's created a Peggy far more human and complex than ever appeared in the comics.
In fact, like RDJ or Sam Jackson, I'd say she's totally usurped any comic book version of the character.

And unlike Paltry Gwennoe, she looks utterly believable kicking a$$.
