Apart from MJ (who is not a super hero) not one classic female heroine has been released or even hinted at. Starting to loose hope that these classic characters are going to be made which is pretty sad.

What has been released (rumoured)
MJ – (mentioned) Amazing Spider-Man #15 (1964), (cameo) Amazing Spider-Man #25 (1965), (fully) Amazing Spider-Man #42 (1966)
Emma Frost - X-Men #129 (1979)
Black Cat - Amazing Spider-Man #194 (1979)
Rogue - Avengers Annual #10 (1981)
Black Queen -Uncanny X-Men #132
She Hulk - Savage She-Hulk #1 (1980)
Mystique – rumoured - (as Raven) Ms Marvel #16 (1978); (as Mystique) Ms. Marvel #18 (1978)

No classic Marvel characters. What should be released:
Scarlet Witch - X-Men #4 (1964)
Black Widow - Tales of Suspense #52 (1964)
Invisible Woman - Fantastic Four #1 (1961)
Medusa - Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #36 (1965)
Crystal - Fantastic Four #45 (1965)
Wasp - Tales to Astonish #44 (1963)
Ms. Marvel Marvel Super-Heroes #13 (1967)
Gamora - Strange Tales #180 (1975)

Wasp could be pretty awesome... a lot of potential there to make something really unique

I think the line has been great so far...She Hulk is icing on the cake.

The ones I want most are Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. As long as both make the lineup I will be happy.

Who's to say what a "classic" character is? Seriously, of this list I don't even know Gamora and I would say only Scarlet Witch and Sue Storm have classic looks. Wasp has been around forever, but what outfit do you go with?

Crystal? Medusa? Really?

Part of the appeal of the line is to get the personality of the creator - in this case Adam Hughes - as integral to statues. So if AH! has no great affinity for Gamora - she(?) doesn't belong in the series.

Now that other artists are participating there's a greater chance that your favorite female character will get the comicquette treatment - but I really don't see how anyone can say "this character belongs" and "this character does not" when it's all subjective and almost completely dependent on the artist involved.

1960's Stan Lee & Jack Kirby CLASSIC. I am sure Adam has drawn many characters he has no affinity for and he has freely admitted that some of his suggestions have been turned down by SS or Marvel so I do not see the point of bringing up "affinity".

So your saying Black Widow does not have the classic look??:rotfl

I agree. :lecture

What one person's idea of "classic" may not be another idea. Like you said...it's all subjective.
