Just dropped off my print at Michael's for framing. I didn't realize it took 2 weeks. I chose a custom frame, hence why I'm not doing it myself. Well, worth the wait though. I got what I wanted.

Can't wait to share the final product. :rock

Anyone have Martin Ansin's Star Wars print(s)? I'd possibly do some kind of trade for my dracula variant.

I was reading that there were posters done for Lost the TV series.

Does anyone know where I can find the listings for these posters?

ebay will for $$$$ :lol

:lol I didn't realize there were so many prints!! I've got...well none of these at the moment.

So Karma, I've seen artists like Stout and Moss do a number of prints. Does Mondo/Alamo commission various artists to do work for them? I guess I'm wondering why there's so many different artists as opposed to just one? (I guess that's the beauty of it though.)

Those are pretty sweet. I've got my eye on one right now. Hopefully, I can snag it.

So another quick question:

(And this will sound stupid...:lol) Why aren't these listed in the archive on the Alamo Drafthouse site? Are some "official" and others not (ie not an Alamo Drafthouse "edition"??)

Obviously, these artists do these posters in addition to their normal work.

But the Lost posters were and yet can't any history/archive of them on mondotees.com or alamodrafthouseposters.com? (Just the website you posted.)

Yes, I'm a n00b...:lol

The Lost posters were not commissioned by Mondo. For really detailed info on prints, go to expressobeans.com.

Basically, what's the "official" site? Mondotees.com?

I think you are confusing yourself here .. Just because an artist does work for Mondo/Alamo and creates a film/art print for one of their series, that doesnt mean that they work exclusively for Mondo.. The Lost tv prints had nothing to do with Alamo/Mondo thats why there is no reference to them on alamodrafthouseposters.com Everything on that site is items solely commissioned by Alamo/Mondo ..

For example is if you wanted to and had permission from the movie studios you yourself could contact any of the artists that mondo uses and pay them do an original piece just for you. The artists is an independent entity and just because they do work for one company doesnt mean they only work for said company.

Now as far as an "official" Mondo/Alamo site .. mondotees.com is the official store front for the theater chain Alamo Drafthouse Cinema .. Their official site is www.originalalamo.com.. Now if you want any sort of archive for the mondo/alamo posters you have to refer to my site which is an unaffiliated/unofficial reference site that i created for collectors to reference older works and see everything all together in one place .. and that is alamodrafthouseposters.com ..

Make sense ? :)

I'm starting to get impatient for my Stout Star Wars posters. :impatient:

I've already got the frames I bought up on my walls because I wanted to make sure they would fit in the space I had, and they seem perfect. I even made a Photoshop mockup to see what they would look like with the posters in them. :lol Come on, Mondo! :D
