I think people are mad because Mondo is gonna Mondo. Just speculating but they may have done it on the grounds of it being a pre-order.
It's not going to lower the prices in the long run though, now there's going to be even more demand for it

Exactly. So what, they suppressed the market for maybe a week? It'll just blow back up and then again when the print is in-hand and then again when Stout has his lottery.
I've seen anger before with the whole process but with this and Kurtz's "Drive" people seem more aggressive than usual. Until they fine craft their f5 skills buying from Mondo they're going to win few and lose most.

GotG is really nice. Besides Goonies and Fantastic Mr. Fox it's the only Stout that I made sure to get both the reg and variant.

mondo cancelled duplicate orders ..more than likely sellers listed at the drop, then oops..order cancelled

I like the regular better for the color, too. Normally I can not stand the blue with his prints but with so many of the characters sporting red, including hair color (BW) I just really like the way the red and blue played together on this one. A fine mixture.
+1 regular. This was the first Stout I was able to get directly from Mondo. I'm almost never a fan of Stout's variants, particularly this one. The colors look so drab. Only one I have and prefer is The Goonies Mondo Con version.

Unfortunately I think I have to go the eBay route unless I get lucky in the Stout lottery.
I really don't buy Mondo's screen prints on eBay that often so I'm relatively OK with paying the eBay price.
I like Stout's regulars better than his variants, I tend to like more color and they "fit" the Marvel movies. I sold my variant Stout GOTG because I didn't care for the all red look but certainly kept the regular I lucked out on getting.

I got a Django variant from Tyler's lottery and while I adore it, I kinda wish I had gone the regular route as the colours pop so much on it.
I definitely think it's one of those things where, if your eyes like it, then yay! I had the Django color. Got it on the drop. Was nice.
I just snagged the variant for Avengers so I'm pretty done, now. Until Infinity War. Then I'm back in!

GotG variant going in for framing today. I do Stout's very simply. No mats. I do like using museum glass but for now (I bought 4 prints in 4 days) I am going to put it with the regular frame glass. I have Avengers AOU coming today, too. If it comes in time, I'll take it in as well.

Avengers goes in on Saturday. Now, GotG and AOU are on the wall because I had hooks up already and didn't want them on the floor. That's not at all where they are going, or how they are going. Once Avengers comes in, I will re-set the hooks to the right position, and put the prints on the wall how I want them, leaving the final space for Civil War. Woot.
I am not putting them in order of release. I'm putting them in order of color. Since my Avengers is black/red variant, and Civil War is regular color, I'm putting them up in this order: Avengers variant, AOU regular, GotG variant, CW regular. I like the color balance. To each. his own. I need to move Shaun up, too. When I feel like it.
