ALIEN and ALIENS Thread...

I haven't seen Resurrection in probably over 5 years so I can't even remember much of it, other than like I said, enjoying seeing the detail finally and the unique visual of the water scenes. As for the scare of not seeing it coming, that deffinately terrified me when I first saw Alien, the arm reaching out at the end of the movie when she's prepping for sleep, a well done scare by Ridley, and I think Cameron's best "Oh ****!" reveal was when Hicks lifts up the ceiling panel and pans the light around and all of a sudden sees dozens of them crawling towards him.

The Cameron Queen is considerably smalled than the AvP Queen... so its more likely HT would do the Aliens Queen... which is more than fine by me. I could care less about AvP.

YUP, it's OFFICIAL. If HT TRULY is making a Queen, than this 1/6 Ripley in Power-Loader vs. Queen will slay my Jabba The Hutt on Throne with steps, Creature packs, Fortuna, Gammies, Fett and frozen Solo for THE ULTIMATE head-turning display piece in my collection!

And YAY to post 500!!!

So after reviewing ALIENS again, I see that Ripley wears her grenade harness while she's in the PL... means I gotta use the one that comes with the reg Ripley to complete the PL one. (I won't mention the fact that she never wears those fingerless gloves that all HT female Aliens characters seem to have).

So that leaves my reg Ripley without a harness. Not a problem, as I'll keep her to the look she carries throughout most of the film: blue jumpsuit thing with the A-2 flight jacket.

Pieces we all still need:

1. her watch.

2. that extra strap of grenade she loops over her head in the elevator when prepping to enter the hive (for those dressing her in that memorable style).

3. a pair of plain female HT hands to replace those "gloved" hands.

Then, she's Ripley.

Believe it or not.

Noticed these as well. The harness should be easy peasy to make. Like the Terminator bandolier, just get some webbing strips. You can pick up those little plastic buckles and connectors from goodthingstogo.com. Her watch I'm using one that came with the Elite Force LAPD gear set. The gloves, although it's not film accurate, I don't mind them.
