To celebrate His Wor-Garness massive thread, how about a little stroll down memory lane?

Do you guys remember these?

These appeared a long time ago, long before HT unveiled their pictures and almost gave me a heart attack!
It's been quite a long wait...

Nice pics, Abake. I've never seen that -- and if I didn't have the HT, I'd want one bad. Face almost works for Hudson. The hands and forearms are really nice. Like a Triad body.

Those Chronos figures are really impressive and that headsculpt DOES look like Hudson. Were these before HT got the license? Just wondering if maybe these were prototypes that were scrapped when HT got the license since these look like they were to be unlicensed generic Space Marines. I'd really like to get one of these if they were released.

I've never seen that figure wearing that armor before. I looked and looked and finally scored that figure with BDU's and T-shirt on Ebay. It was referred to as "USCM figure by unknown maker". The headsculpt may be copied from the resin headsculpt from EVA models.

On the bottom of the photo it credits Chris Chulamanis, who runs EVA Models. Chris put out a USCM rifleman kit years ago and I believe someone tried pull a mold off his armor and take it to market. Don't know if this is it or not.

If you haven't checked out his site yet, please do. I don't know if it was mentioned earlier in this thread or not, but he built a 1/6 remote controlled APC for his figures!

He's also blowing out his 1/6 USCM BDU's on Ebay. $4.00 per outfit plus the correct knife thrown in for free if you ask. $15 for 1/6 facehugger kits. I've ordered from him several times. Search under " USCM " if interested.

Wor-Gar, I think we should just PM Dave and ask him to consider making a new thread devoted to each license. There's no excuse why Buffy gets a thread over Aliens or Terminator or Predator. If he shoots it down then we can spam him with petitions and polls.

I always check with "New Posts", but you can add me to the list. I don't see how a separate 80's sci-fi thread could hurt. I wouldn't call it Monsters of the 80's because of all the New Line figures. It might confuse dumb people.

I've heard that EVA models and Chronos are one in the same. They only released one figure set, The Russian MVD Colonial trooper. It came in a foam tray with all the pieces in their own spots. The armor came pre-assembled and pre-painted (Painted very well). But didn't come with a figure or BDU set. I ordered a full set from Legends Hobbies for $120 and they sent the armor and weapons set separate from a complete BBI MVD Krochell "Falcon" boxed figure. What you do is add the armor to the base body and BDU's to complete the figure.
I took some pics of mine awhile ago:

The armor is identical to the EVA Colonial Marines armor set.
I should take some better photos of the figure some day.
