Those Vasquez's look really cool with better arms.
I am not loving the weird elbows, and may shift mine, as per suggested, first.
But, all in all, MUCH more the character!

BTW, here's a shot of a repainted Drake...

I don't personally own a Drake, so I can't see him clothed until the owner dons him up. But, I am more tempted now...he is decent likeness. Better than that Stoner/Hicks/Hudson/thing!

Anyway, more shots in my custom thread.
And more to come if I ever get that arm thing done with Vas! Repaint of mine is fo sho! Now, she can be darker like she's supposed to be!

Man, these Aliens human figures are really showing off how a bad paint job can mask a great sculpt. I never thought paint applications could alter a sculpt that much before seeing all of these Aliens figures get into Les' hands, good job as always.

The funny part is, he was the only one of all these HT Marines guys, that I actually had a paintup plan for in my head...all this time...and I have (currently) no plans to get a figure!
That may change, but for the moment, I doubt it.

Still, I am grateful for the chance to paint him. There's something about his light red hair and skin coloration, that had me vexed. Always thought about what I might do. VERY different approach to eyes on this guy. Tough!

Looking for some advice from the Alien fanatics in here. I've got a healthy ammount of rewards points stashed up, and recently I've been hearing from people that they've had orders for non-Sideshow items go through with rewards points used, and if I used mine I can get the AVP Alien Warrior for around half price. I have the ALIENS Alien Warrior on order and deffinately plan to get that, but would you guys say the AVP Warrior is a worthwhile buy too?

Whaa? You can use Rewards points for non-Sideshow website stuff ?!! Awesome! I have my eyes on something and really wanted to use my rewards points on it. Though, I might just save them for the Power Loader if I can.

I personally like the smooth design of the Alien Resurrection warrior the most, The AVP Alien comes very close to that design. The Aliens Warrior comes in second. It all comes down to which version you personally prefer.

If Reward Points worked on Hot Toys then I would have spent all of mine already. My reward points are useless to me because I would ONLY use them on Hot Toys. Sideshow offers nothing that I would want. I also have a $10 gift card that is worthless to me.
