Here's something new. The guys over at OSW are trying to figure out if this is a custom or a leaked prototype for the Hot Toys line. It was found on some Hong Kong thread...

The hands look like Vasquez, but those boots look pretty darn good for a custom. I hope its the real deal.

My gf saw this same figure in HK about 4 months ago - but she said it had the green suit on. It was at the toy store where she got my Takara and Medicom bats. She's pretty sure it was displayed as a HT figure.

Maybe this one IS a prototype with the non final suit?

Looks like a cool figure regardless.

Hi People.

This is a fantastic collectible line.
Regarding the post about the Alien Egg. These Eggs come with the AVP
4" scale Hot Toys figures. I believe the Egg can be used with the large format figures due to it's scale.

All the best

Thanks for the update! I like how the new pics show off his brains.

Is it the figure's design that bothers you, or the creature's?
I think HT did an amazing job with the figure design. It's the actual alien design that I don't care for. To me the feet look like a ducks and the hands look like meat hooks. The hands also look longer than the feet. I really debated a long time about ordering this because HT did such a great job, but I can't get over those sticking points. I'm still hoping to see HT make an Alien from either of the first two movies.

I just bought a "Hot Toys Alien Queen" off ebay. The seller says it's about 16inches tall. Anyone know about this item? All I can gather is it was made up from parts that are supplied from the AvP Snap Kits series two. The Hot Toys site states that a piece is supplied with each of the eight designs, so a 12 inch Alien Queen can be assembled. So I guess it must be that one. Anyone have one , or can shed some further light on the subject.

The first pic is of the one I bought and the second is from Hot Toys site. Looks to be the same to me.

:rotfl Duck feet. You nailed it.

Yeah, I remember your fence sitting. I think you're doing the right thing by waiting. I can't see 2007 going by without Aliens from the second film being released.

Yup, I got me one. I'm very happy with her and her brood.

She is indeed made of parts included with the Snap-Kits from AvP series 2. If she's pre-assembled then that's a good thing. If not, there's a bit of a learning curve involved. (Boil pop all the way!) She stands just under 12 inches, I believe, and towers impressively over other Snap-Kits.

She really needs the clear stand plugged in for her to stand. She has a great rubber neck that hides her joints... Her hands can cradle the Snap-Kit Predators or Marines... I think she's great. I'm sure you'll be very happy with her!

What she really needs though is for Hot Toys to come out with a Power Loader for her to fight. :D

The Alien killing Chopper is the McFarlane, but the rest are all AvP Snap-Kits.

Awesome gdb. Thanks for all the info and the pics. I am most pleased to hear you are happy with her. Most likely I will be too. Didn't think I'd get an answer so soon. Thanks mate.

I would be all over it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Man I hope so... I'm in the same boat as Batty. I think its a beautiful figure and amazingly well made. I just think that the original look for the Aliens and Predators is the best and thats the figure I need Hot Toys to make. I can't imagine with all of the marines we won't see at least on classic bug from Alien or Aliens!!!

If the Marines and Predators (and their exclusives via Ani Com and SSC) are any indication, Hot Toys is gonna milk these guys for years to come and from how they've handled the Predators, each figure is going to be improved over the last. By the time they get to Alien One and Two and Predator One and Two, they are gonna rock!

Yes! Rock on brother :D :rock2

Nice! That thing is tall... so is the mouth rubbery so you can pose it open or closed... or are there different heads?

Oh I see... the lever in the back pushes the mouth open and the projectile (can't remember what thats called) out. Very cool and an interesting way to do that!
