I know, I know. Christmas spending and all. Trying to recover. I definitely want this guy...its just a question of juggling my finances so I don't get boned with an SS surprise arrival. As it is, in January I have Bib, T2 guys and maybe Legolas to deal with. I need another job.

Well pjam, there ya go. Just know that if you do decide to get it, you will not be dissappointed. The HT AVP line is a strong competitor for the top 1/6 line in my book. And in fact, personally it's my favourite 1/6 line to date.

I have all three Marines (all with amazing repaints thanks to Les and Mikey) and all the new one's on pre-order so an Alien Warrior will be coming believe me, just holding off a little longer... I'll take a group shot of the crew (sans Alien ) for you guys this week...

Remember, this is Hot Toys. This is the Alien franchise. There will be HT Aliens in all sorts and flavors with vast variations for years to come. The last two varieties have started coming with face huggers. And then there's the storage of all the figures.

Of course I could be typing all this because I had to choose between HT Clark Kent this month and the AvP alien and C.K. won.

hey guys, im still waiting on the new marines and ripley. Im still deciding on whether i should pass up the takara jinroh in favour of a predator ( i haven gotten any yet) . But i do know that if i miss HT CK thats it coz the price will just go up and i'll never get him again

So cool, Les. That is SO on my wish list you have no idea. The fixes to the Alien look perfect...and of course that Ripley rocks. I really would like that version of her more than the one we're getting.

I hope that white shirt/green t-shirt combo on the floor is for Parker!

I opened my HT Alien warrior yesterday, and it's not all I had hoped for. It's impressive for a posable figure, I'm sure, but I guess I expected to much. It's just not 'the' original Alien. I thought I wouldn't mind so much, once I have it in hand, but alas... Never been a huge fan of the AvP movie, but with so few descent figures of an original Alien out, this AvP Alien is the next best shot, in therms of design. The quality however is amazing. I still have the Brown version on order, not sure if I keep it though.
