You're liable to be waiting for a while there P.
I see no real movement in the immediate future towards whole new Alien sculpts. Unless someone else has a lead on it.
My guess is, more AVP 2 stuff when that hits this summer. I could be wrong, but I wonder...

Well, my thinking is Howard Chan wouldn't release 6 Aliens Marines without planning to include an Aliens Warrior at some point in the near future...
then I hope they'll follow with an Aliens Queen followed by the PL...

I'm kinda sad to say this, but I can wait a while before we get an more announcements. With all my current pre-orders for the AVP line, anything else is gonna start hurting the wallet. lol Oh well, that's a part of collecting.

Just assembled the Alien, and had an other good look at it. It's great. Once it's got all the arms and legs and tails, it's very impressive. Gone keep the brown Alien I have on order! Unfortunately I had to take it apart again, because: no room to display = it goes back in the box!
Oh before I forget. If you missed out on the black Alien warrior, get the brown while it's still available! $129 is a lot of money though (especially if you have to add $56 for shipping and tax...)...

And for fun...this IS the ALIENS thread...
A comp of these two. The Alien on the left isn't quite done yet, (No shine for one) but this shows the variance in just the two first versions. Both are done with 14" MacFarlanes...
I enjoy trying to recapture the esthetic differences between the Alien versions. The first one was, for the REAL one that is, painted by HR Giger with airbrushes and all that, and has this weird color thing that looks smokey or almost burned looking. The ones for ALIENS are either a puppet, or simple contrasty "skeleton" suits that are not meant to be all that scrutinized, so the colors are more stand out like this. I love 'em both, so I try to capture the look of each.

Dude, it took months to get what I got, and I am not gonna worry about it now. It looks great, and the tongue does extend, it just won't stay. No biggie.
Must be a broken tab or corner of plastic in there somewhere.
No, this one came a day after my HT Celtic Predator, then it was Christmas. NO WAY I go through all that. He's cool. I got the runt of the litter is all.

That cool Les, to tell you the truth I never pose mine with the tongue out, except for the pix. I like it better with the mouth closed. But that just me. I agree though, if mine did not lock in place it would not be that big of a deal to me.
