I've got 3,155 RP ready for this. Problem is I've only got space left ontop of my Besta and this will be too long to fit.
Might have to disply it side on which I don't want to do.
The Warrior is 18" deep and would fit perfectly on a Besta but BC will be much more imposing.

The Big Chap and the Warrior are the same size my friends. 18" keeps it in true 1:2 scale and this will be no different. However I must admit that they're giving it a larger look by camera angles etc. But rest assure that they're the same size.

I believe the reasoning for the size difference was that the Big Chap is technically larger than the Warrior Aliens in the films.
I find it odd that SS would pay that much attention to the size of each alien though.

They're different sizes in "real" life. So SS is keeping the scales the same. The warriors were much smaller than the original Alien.

Not a bad idea. I wonder if they will pick big chap or warrior for that.
I'm just going to go with the contest. I have an 1:1 HCG bust. It's not that great but goes well with the big chap maquette so I'm all set.

Is this published anywhere? I was under the impression (incorrect I suppose), that because the actors were gymnast types inside the warrior suits, that the heads were also not as imposing as the original. I'm a huge fan of the franchise, with Alien as my #1 film of all time. So if you could please educate me on this with some specification on one dome compared to the other, I would greatly appreciate it.

The dome will be the problem area if anything getting the tint right, and if if the paint work is crappy underneath on the skull area there isn't really much you can do about it once it's all sealed up. The prototype is beautiful however, I really hope they do this justice.

Nah, the P2 is so tainted and underwhelming at this stage, I'm looking forward to seeing it in person of course but my hopes are very low. This thing however I have been itching to order for the best part of 6 months. It may not be perfectly screen accurate, the dome is too round as always but my word it looks amazing!! compare this to the full size HCG bust and tell me which one is more impressive! Love it. I will be incredibly excited about this one until it arrives, hope SS do it right.
