We don't see petitions about it do we? Like to make the movie illegal or something :lol

Complaining =/= ****storm.

Plus I haven't seen Alien 3 getting that much hate.

I have maybe only heard of 3 people who can even tolerate it, hell even David Fincher hated it. The best thing to happen to Alien 3 was Resurrection because anything looks good next to that. Petitions are mostly made for video games and I bet 21 years from now the ending of Mass Effect 3 will be far from anyone's mind:lol.

:horror What? Really? Damn!

:lol I liked Alien Resurrection, with the cheese and the cheap one-liners and all :lol but it felt kind of like an alternative Universe.

It's one of the reasons I love the franchise, every movie feels different.

The only ones I genuinely hate are AVP 1&2.

Not only videogames, did you forget the petition to make Batffleck Illegal? :lol

He disowned the film and was quoted saying something to the effect of he would rather have died from colon cancer than ever do that again.

Wow, I wonder what he saw on the film to make him hate it that much :lol

Well I still like it though.

It was a pretty troubled production and tons of changed were constantly being made to the script. The studio recut the film without his consent and even released a teaser trailer that all but claims it takes place on earth. Fincher wouldn't even appear on bonus content for any of the movies releases until recently.

Yeah I saw some documentaries about it, **** the suits! :cuss:

But I had no idea they pushed him enough to hate his own baby :lol

Its crazy to think about it. I think it just shows how good he is because even despite all the negatives the look and feel of that movie is still pretty good.

Fincher didn't hate the franchise, he hated how production was handled. Thankfully, Alien 3 still turned out to be a masterpiece.

Guess part of his vision did go through.

I wouldn't call it a masterpiece myself, but it's certainly no disgrace like some people say it is.

It is a good movie.

Its been a while since I last played an Alien game, the last one I remember is Alien trilogy, those were the days...

:rock Loved that game, still have it stashed away someplace.

As long as they don’t boast it to be the “Best thing since Alien!” and that I haven’t experienced Aliens until I’ve played this game!!! Then I will be ok if it falls short and enjoy it for what it is.

I hated that guy as soon as those words came out of his mouth, and I was suspicious of how overly enthusiastic he was about his game when all the demos were CLEARLY staged, it wasn't a surprise for me to hear that the game sucked.

SEGA has mishandled this franchise. Actually to think of it, I don't know of a GREAT SEGA game in a while.

Hopes were high for Gearbox but they obviously dropped the ball by passing it to crummy developers. I'm surprised that SEGA is giving this 1st Person game to a studio that has NO experience with 1st Person games. Perhaps Creative Assembly is looking to try new things?

Doesn't sound very interesting though...I'll reserve judgment for later when they actually show stuff.
