I think it's crouching, that's why :lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but now that I've seen the gameplay many times I'm sure he doesn't have human legs, they gave him chicken legs :lol
I don't mind, I prefer that look for the Alien.

Yeah, it's not scary at sight, but I think that's cause we're way to familiar with it, we like it more that it scares us :lol but lighting and a good atmosphere can be a world of difference

:exactly:

either way, I know I will love this game no matter what

CHILLS????? Chills would be putting it nicely....Aliens Colonial Marines is a heaping pile of #@%* I fu%&*@# hate it and hope that gearbox goes out of business. Yes out of business. After seeing that its a NEW company working on this game I'm looking forward to it just a bit. The story for me is cool and if it gives the player a genuine survival horror feel then I guess you could say I'll be in alien heaven LOL.......

:exactly::goodpost:

Nothing they promised was there, plus, the game sucks, sucks like no other game ever sucked before. Is a disgrace for the Alien franchise

This is the best review of that game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGX2WE4QUw8

Theres nothing wrong with survival horror, it's a great genre, what's left of it that is. Having said that, there is one single Alien in this entire game. I don't want to shoot up hoards with an automatic turret or anything but I also don't want to play Hide and Seek the Video Game for 20 hours of Single Player either. That really sucks imo.

Not to mention all survivor horrors tend to franchise and leave those elements behind just like Dead Space and probably more aptly just like Alien and Aliens. Since this is already a franchise, you know the next games going to go right back to tons more aliens to shoot regardless of this one's success.

But again I'll tell you right now, if you think this is going to save anything your wrong. Most people will avoid it based on Colonial Marines alone and those that don't may based on only 1 single alien.

This concept has already been done with Slender Man the game and wasn't a huge success so this won't be anything new to gamers.

You go around trying to survive and escape while having to avoid and run or trap and get away from Slender Man. It's this on earth instead of Space.

Obviously you take Wikipedia with a pinch of salt, but the page gave me the impression that there will be more than a single Alien...

The game is set in 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years before the events of Aliens. It focuses on Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda who, while in search for her mother, goes to a space station: Sevastopol, unaware that the Xenomorphs have already infested the place.

Either way, single Alien or multiple; this game looks good.

Oh damn... I really hope its just one Alien, that would make this game special for me

I played a bit of Outlast (Free for PSN subscribers) and it reminded me of the description of this game.

In outlast you and your night vision camcorder are trapped in a mental asylum. If they can make Isolation as scary as Outlast I'm sold.

looks good so far. Unlike the atrocity that was alien Colonial Marines. I'm not sure how exiting of a game it would be, knowing that you are hunted by one alien throughout the whole game.

Outlast helped me define what kind of horror genre gamer I am. See, I love Silent Hill and those games, but with outlast - having just a camera, and no other weapons, I was frustrated the whole game. Part of my frustration stemmed from the fact that it was dark 50% of the time.

As long as I can see where I am going, Alien should be great!

Game consumer in a nutshell.

Actually I play a variety of games most of which are 3rd person adventure like uncharted or Last of us. The aliens series needs one good shooter as all before it have sucked. Get of your high horse.

Agreed 100%

Never played the Resurrection game but I remember seeing previews for it on my old Aliens VHS all the time. :lol

I barely played AvP and when I did it was over a decade ago, but I remember enjoying it.

AvP2 I replay almost every year. That game just never gets old. Fantastic story, fantastic gameplay, just love every bit of it.
