The actual description does say 16" Above the base so i take that to mean not including the base but then again i could be wrong:confused:

I was thinking 16" is to small, but then got out my tape measure and its pretty big really,i think it will be fine...........Bring it on:monkey5:D

I did the same thing with a measuring tape and have to say that this thing should be quite large.

I think this is going to surprise a lot of people when they open it up and see how big it actually is.

My thoughts exactly!

The amount of things i open when i get them and think "woa thats bigger than i thought",even though i know the dimensions:duh

Do it all the time,so i'm not worried by the size of this, with all its detail and awesome sculpt its guna be stunning imo:banana

Oh, We'll get an idea of how big it is alright. Right after we see the shipping charge.:banghead

can you post pictures of your 1/4 Queen maquette ?

I will post a few, but I am not going to open its case for photos. The biggest issue is that the case is custom made, and requires a screwdriver to open the walls, which hold the 0.25" plexi in place. It is a pain to slide them in and out too.

I use plexus to clean the case, and that keeps it looking like real glass (I used the plexi as its stronger, could hit it with a baseball bat), but the surface is reflective and hard to photo. If I turn up the lights, it get more reflective. I will post a few anyhow, prove I have it.

Here is a pic with good lighting, out of the case, taken by the man who made her.

I assure you, it is very accurate to the Original that Winston studios auctioned off. Here is the Winston piece before the auction, back when Stan was still with us. Note the plates on the back spike are actually place backwards on the winston study piece vs. the way they looked in the film. The one I have above has them in the film placement (they actually slide out and could be put on either side either way).
