Alien Warrior 1:1 Bust - Sideshow

sideshowpdx, so why are you selling the warrior and now the Predator?

Just changing things up a bit... I have the Star Wars Biker Scout (it's about 3 feet long) on order and will be putting it on the table where my Alien Wall is currently along with an original framed Revenge of the Jedi poster.
I'll sell my Pred 1:1 bust and my Cinemaquette Alien will go in it's place to the left of the SS PF Predator. I'll put the Predator 2 poster in storage and replace it with my Alien 1-Sheet.
I always like changing things in that room and I've done virtually nothing in the past year.

I saw the big shiny "Buy It Now" button and wanted to click it sooo badly, but I just didn't have the $3000 at hand.

So to console myself I picked up a 1/4 scale Queen for €550 on the 'bay, from Germany. Not bad!

Yep!!! All paid up! Dang paypal and ebay fees were over $200! That's not even starting with shipping.

My guess on shipping is at least $500.00, maybe more. You will have to ship with fedex or ups.

This is absolutely unreal. I just got back from the UPS Store... Shipping is $689.. I had NO idea it would be anywhere close to this... I was prepared for a $200 bill at the worst. That's not even including taxes, duties or fees.. I totally regret this now. I haven't shipped it yet. I am a honest person and feel like I should follow through on my end of the deal,,, but I'm considering just refunding the seller their $$$....

Well, the buyer would be responsible for any duties or taxes, so I think you're clear on that front. You've still made a pretty nice profit on the deal.

He already charged them a flat fee of $125, and it's against ebay rules to go back and try to charge more than what you said.

You thought the shipping would be only $200 to Europe?

Customs fees will be paid by the buyer, not you. Still, retail was $899 with free shipping, so you made a pretty damn good profit out of this.

Next time ask here or first check with FedEx/UPS. I usually do that before I list my auctions.

Large items like this just aren't worth it to ship overseas, since you can't ship them with USPS. The prices are unreal. I shipped a Vader pf to Turkey with Fedex once and it cost around $400.00.

I wish I had been paying closer attention to this thread. I could have told you $500.00 at least to start.
