Check it out, found a SS Alien Warrior Bust.

BTW, if you ever get a chance to deal with SoundClown, do it. You won't regret it. His packing is the best I have seen. Check out in the first two pics how he took the SS shipper, wrapped it in hard Styrofoam, then wrapped that in thick cardboard.

Then it was shipped. Incredible, it took the guy five hours to package this, and the other bust I bought from him at the same time, the T-800 Arnold. He also sold me his SS Predator bust and Venom a while back. Shipped them all the same way.

I cannot say enough good things about the guy. Thanks SoundClown!

Ok, now for the pics.

Congrats on getting your hands on one. Bet it set you back quick a bit of money.

Yes, it did. I have bought over 95% of my statues from the US. I have seen this one around, but when SoundClown posted his, and he was in Canada, I made the move to buy it for a few reasons: 1) buying this expensive an item within Canada saved me the GST, Brokerage, duties, extra shipping from the US (which, in total on the above on this piece I calculated would be an extra $700 US) 2. I have bought from SoundClown before, and I KNEW for SURE if he said mint, it is mint, and item as described. 3. I wanted one.

congrats, it's simply beautiful !

Thanks! I think so too.

Congrats on the cool piece. Are those paint chips in the last pic?

No, they are not. Believe me, I ran my eye on every mm of this baby. Mint. What you are seeing in some pics is 1) glare from the umbrella light which causes some circular spots pending where it reflects, or 2) some styrofoam chips.

amazing . :rock:rock
Congrats . :rock2

Thanks!

Glad to know that. Awesome! Congrats on the grail piece.

If I knew he was selling I would have bought it. I am extremely jealous of you, but well done :)

MikeBrown30, where are you located?

congrat's that is amazing! and huge!

It is a big one. Not exactly 36 inches in length, one shorter, but yeah he's a big boy. I am having to redefine my display area with my new slant on collecting the life size busts.

One of the things I have already found out with this bust is that it needs a lot of lighting on it to bring out the details. When I opened it, I was impressed, and yet I still did not see the rarity and detail in it until you get it under some strong display lights. Not only can this bust handle it, IMO, it NEEDS it to draw out the details and artistry in it. When you have something this big with so much gloss black in it the lights really pull out the dimensions and depth of the sculpt. Otherwise, it can look like a bit of a lump after a while.

I live in Australia dude, shipping costs don't bother me at this point. I passed one up a month ago because I thought shipping was too expensive from the UK. But the last few that have sold the price has been upwards of $800 more so i'm kicking myself now.

$800 shipping right? If you found one for $800 you had better grab them now. They are going for up to 5 times that price!

Wow! Congrats and GREAT pics!!! This piece really pops in the right lighting!!! :joy

Thanks! Yes, the lighting is a big with this. It is literally the difference between night and day.

Congrats man, best sideshow 1:1 bust imo.

Thanks Nacho. IMO, it certainly rates up there in the top ones.

Beautiful! We definitely need more 1:1 Alien stuff. I'd love the Alien 3 "dog" Alien.

I got my 1:1 Darkness bust from Rick, he is a good guy to deal with...and your right he doesnt kid around when it comes to proper packaging. Pics look good man! I wish I was more of an Alien nut to get that thing...but Im not..I wouldnt be comfortable spending that kind of cash. It is a very impressive piece though.
