Amazing. Hoping some kind of Fincher involvement on Alien3.

I think that is the only thing that was missing from the Quadrilogy...and the Burke cocoon sequence but I'd be interested to see what old stuff else they can dig up.

Here's our first look at the packaging for the upcoming Blu-Ray editions of the Alien Quadrilogy.

These pictures came from a Polish distributor.
Apparently, there will be a limited edition Alien Egg version as well as the regular version, each containing six discs.

I haven't confirmed yet why there are two different Egg versions pictured (with Alien and without).

I'm REALLY hoping we get the Alien/Egg sculpted version. That looks killer!

i second the above statement.

frankly i don't give a rat's a$$ about alien3 and resurrection. (tho 3 was beautifully shot and had great production design)

just gimme the first 2 films in bluray-quality pic & audio, with some tasty new extras, and i'm a happy lil chestburster.

It would be cool the actual bluray packaging that sits underneath the Alien/Egg and Egg versions is the same as the standard packaging. That way you have the option of displaying it either way.

But I agree, the picture and sound quality of these versions have to be top notch or else this blu-ray edition will be somewhat wasted.

I noticed there was a teaser trailer for this, but it's been a bit quite for news lately. Some people are worried about the Pulse Rifle noise, but I am sure they have not changed it for the movie
