A few extended scenes that really didn't add much to the film and a lame new opening. The Alien3 extended cut was much better even with the poor sound quality in the new scenes.

on a side note the new Blu-Ray Hunter Edition of Predator looks awesome you wouldn't know it was a 23 year old movie by the picture quality.

You mean the theme that was originally copied from Star Wars when Luke was flying away from the Death Star right before it exploded? Or did you think that Avatar was the first sci-fi movie Cameron made that borrowed from other flicks?

Part of the reason why the theme of Avatar and Aliens sounds similar was because they were both done by the same composer. James Horner.

Yeah that is a great tune and I did toy with using that one.
I know it's a very somber tune that I chose (It's one of my favourite tracks) but I wanted a tune that encompassed the feel of both Alien and Aliens
