I don't foresee there being another Ripley release... From this film that is. I think they might make Ripley figs from her other Alien films... but not Aliens.

I opted to go with Sideshow because of the FLEXpay option but for those of you looking for a good deal, online retailers like Alter Ego Comics and Corner Store Comics are offering the Power Loader for $212.49 plus shipping.

I've heard good things about CSC, and I've personally had excellent dealings with Alter Ego and recommend them highly; I wish I could have gone with them for the Power Loader, but I prefered the spread-out payments so that my wallet wouldn't take as hard a knock in a single hit And I figure it's a decent way to rack up Sideshow rewards points, if anything...

Yup, Marc is the KING! I got my HT Robocop and ED-209 through AEC because of the lower pre-order prices than most other online retailers, and Marc has become my new favorite guy to go to for these figs. So, I ended up getting my Power-Loader through him instead of going the Flex-Pay route. $212.49 was just too good a bargain...even if it will be all at once! Plus I got an extra $8 off in AEC Loyalty Points, so it was just over $200 + s&h for the PL!...Time to start Saving! Can't Wait!!!

If that isn't Bait & Switch I don't know what is. They enticed people to pre-order based on incorrect pricing BEFORE it had been officially announced by Hot Toys then change pre-order pricing AFTER the price is revealed and jack up the cost with a $5 courtesy discount for the inconvenience. They should not have posted pre-orders until they knew the price "from their distributor" is total B.S. They just wanted to be the first e-tailer to begin taking pre-orders when they saw the item announced at Toy Fair and wanted to capitalize on the excitement.
