In Alien 3, why does the Alien take Clemences body? (The one who injects Ripley and is then head bitten) I mean there are no eggs, so whats the purpose?

Do aliens just feed... maybe just hungry. Who knows. May have just been for cinematic effect to see a body effortlessly dissapear up into an air vent. Possibly some territorial instinct

Given that the Dallas/Egg scene was cut from Alien (which allowed Cameron to create the Queen) the idea of the Alien taking recent kills away from the attack location can be accepted, if not explained...?

The dog alien is seen eating from one of his victims before being drawn away by someone else. So yeah I presume he dragged Clements away to eat him....poor Clements. He was a good character in that film.

This would make an awesome dio. Take notice Sideshow, you could do dio's based on the AvP games. Especially the pred in this pic with the trophy/totem.

I looked over at AvPGalaxy and it seems that these are 3 seperate covers for AvP 3 World War awesomly welded together.

Are they from different regions of the home planet? Much like humans vary in appearance from different continents.

Yeah I would imagine so.

Since, in regards to variance in appearance, the lost predators all varied in appearance. Whether they were from different regions or not I dont know. But as well as there being separate clans due to geographic limitations, but also having separate clans within those geographic limitations, in the same way there were celtic clans and samurai clans etc. and each possibly having their own individual hunting rituals, or specialising in hunting certain types of animals native within their territory.

Thats just my opinion. Sorry if you were wanting info in regards to comics etc.

Cannon in the Aliens universe is unique every Aliens fan who has their own view of which movies they love and hate, but I can tell you in interview press for AVP:Requiem, the directors said he wanted to show the Aliens do feed on people too and though it's hard to see anything in that movie, there is a scene he put in to show that with an Alien repeatedly munching on someone with their inner jaws.

What confused me more is how the Aliens are supposed to be capturing people alive when they always show the inner jaws tearing through their victims melons and exploding out the other side (laugh).

I know the novelization of Aliens had written that their tails were stingers which makes worlds more sense and what I am always thinking happens off screen, even though we've never seen it.

It was feeding by the pool in AVPR? Sheesh. I just thought it was a playful one, messing with its kill.

Also, interesting note...all of the Alien skulls in the trophy room have spikes coming out of their foreheads.

There's also a Ray Harryhausen Cyclops skull and a skull from the movie THEY LIVE.
