You are most welcome D Boz, looking forward to your decals. These are the important details which will make this an amazing piece. We have a good team here! And Angie has been instrumental in the build up, she is an amazing person to deal with and we are very lucky to have her with us...
Okay, small casting updates:
In the past week or so we have made contact with a few other professional casters, and most have expressed interest in providing quotes to us for such a small run! This is good news guys, it means we'll get it done... these casters usually need exact dimensions or more detailed kit master parts info to provide quotes as they are not all that familiar with this project so that will take time. Mudshark and Stendec are working with Angie to produce mechanical drawings and spec graphics in the near future so we hope to provide these casters with rough dimensions and may get a few rough quotes but most likely the actual quote to produce these kits will come after Angie has started/completed her set of master parts, so hang in there. I suggest we use Chris' original casting quote of $32-40 per kit as a rough barometer but it doesn't necessarily mean the other quotes will be in that range, they may be, I just don't want to make any assumptions at this point...
So, we have other Casters interested in providing quotes... not bad considering we had none a week ago. I will continue to look for other professional casters... and will keep you posted.
