Aliens vs Predator- Who Wins?

Predators. Their race is advanced enough to use weapons, whereas the aliens are just savage beasts. And remember--the Predators hunted the aliens is the comic book ON PURPOSE, not the other way around.

I think a lot of folks relate more to Preds because they are basically like very big men. Uglier faces maybe, but men. Aliens are far less so. Savage beasts? Maybe, more like insects...but then, they always seem to know how to get to us. Elevator anyone?

But, I can kinda see your point.

I find it ironic that your banner man there, Bill Duke, whom I would buy a 12" figure of in a heartbeat if they made one, was killed quick and easy by Predator #1. That couldn't be affecting your choice could it? You thinking Duke woulda took out an Alien, even thought he was Predator spam?

(He's cooler than them both though. He coulda played Shaft in the remake. Nothing against SLJ )

Preadtor easy. Aliens are just aggressive monsters really. Predators are smart and live for the hunt.

what i like about Predator is that he likes to play with his food. In the first part, I bet he could have easily taken out the commandos with his shoulder cannon and blade but he doesn't. He lured them one by one to fight him.

You knock the preds too much.
The Predators live a life governed by unbreakable taboos (laws). They have a structured society. They are thrill seekers, and so they hunt for sport. Hunting is what the Predator is all about. And being a hunter, honor is just as important. Predators are no wimps.

Aliens are cool as well. They all share a common mind though. They have a cycle that they follow. We know that Aliens are all about finding hosts and impregnating them, thus growing their hive. I really like the Alien, too.

When it comes down to it, a Predator will take out the Alien. Queens can of course take down a Predator. However, an Elder Predator would make a even fight with the Queen.

By the way, there's a new Superman/Batman vs. Aliens/Predators comic coming out in January.

The Aliens are able to take over anything simply because they are so refined into these sick killing machines. No other purpose in life other than to serve the Queen, take more hosts and kill anybody in their path.

Predator's are awesome and by far the best at what they do. They still freak me out, that's for sure... But Aliens are terrifying without anything to help them... no weapons at all, no sick gadgets... just teeth, claws and a tail.

Yes, that would be something to witness. However, we must remember that the Alien has its claws, tail, and inner jaw to unleash hell with. But, the Predator even unarmed, does have a few things on its side. Intelligence. The Predator is no stupid hunter, then again, neither is the Alien. Predators are born as brutes. They're strong mothaf*ckas. That comes natural to them. I think the Predator could use the envirornment to aid himself. Hmm, it would be cool...

Remember the queen sending commands to her brood to stay back when Ripley showed a willingness to torch her eggs?
Remember when the Queen rides the elevator up to the action? Hmmmm...let's ponder that for a second...

In Resurrection where they outsmart the people and escape, and lead folks into the cage and press the button and kill the one soldier, and catch the scientists for breeding stock? Yeah! Dumb? no. Wild beasts? No.

More than just brutes. in the right circumstances, any armed or unarmed Pred would have his or her hands full!

And remember, they do have to chain up that queen to breed her....control that B!tch or she'll get your A$$!

Don't worry, I like Preds too. It's just that they are essentially just big, armored Rastafarian men with wierd skin and ugly mouths and glowing blood. That's all they are. Armored, wicked, men. Aliens are not men.

Be nice to see them come up with an Alien that neither we nor Predators can beat....

All your points are very valid, Les. When you look at the origins of both species, things get VERY interesting. Both species have remarkable backgrounds. It's part of what makes them so cool.

I just find the Aliens scarier. I could imagine sharing a drink with a Predator. Not so an Alien. That may be my only bother. Aliens scare me. Predators don't. I respect them, but they don't scare me. Different ballgame I guess.

Considering the fact of who is the scarier titan, when you look at the Predator, he is well human like to a point. The Alien on the other hand, is like a huge bug in a way almost. Something totally nasty and ruthless. Looking back to all the Alien movies, the intelligence of the Alien is refered to. I think it's all of them at least. I could be wrong. Now, look at AVP. In the end the Predator and the human became allies to defeat the Aliens. That does suggest something. Yep, it sure is interesting.

the way I see it, aliens are never unarmed. They have deadly blood, spiked tail, and gruesome teeth.

Now, if Aliens do not have those and battle a Predator, surely they will be defeated easily. ...also, from what I can recall fromt he movies, ALiens are just a bunch of back stabbing animals. The Predators at least face their enemies and not lurk behind them. That is why Predator is the best, IMO
