the new collection sets. I think I'm on episode 113

I really need to start watching One Piece, but I've got so much backlog that there always seems to be something else I want to watch more. It may be that because I first watched the horrible 4Kids dub of One Piece on Cartoon Network and have only seen a couple of the FUNimation dub episodes, I am subconsciously putting it off. I've got both the season/voyage sets and the new collection sets, so I guess I better pull the collection sets and start watching!

the more I watch the shows from the old cartoon network like DBZ & one piece, the more pissed off I get at cartoon network for chopping up episodes and/or skipping episodes entirely

Oh I know! I've got all the Dragon Ball Z Dragon Boxes and plan on watching all the way through soon, and I know it will be like watching the show for the first time! :rotfl

At least they only censor a little bit on Adult Swim, but even there, they have skipped episodes or cut whole scenes out.

I first started watching DBZ on Toonami back in the day and then I remember watching the uncut Japanese version on the International Channel and couldn't believe how much DBZ was edited on Cartoon Network.

In case you guys didn't know, Sentai remastered Grave of the Fireflies and released a new DVD back in March. Now they are releasing the Blu-Ray in November!!

Thank you! I had bought the remastered DVD but now I will have to get the Blu-Ray :D I have never ordered from rightstuff before. I'm guessing this Grave of the Fireflies Blu-ray will be region A?

Never mind just realized I'm dumb lol I can't believe I didn't hear about this US release. I am so pumped! Hopefully Amazon puts it up soon? If not guess I will be ordering it from rightstuff

Any anime masters know how to get your hands on the new Berserk stuff coming out? I've seen video segments and it looks like the original with redone art, but I saw something on the translate that said they're going to continue the story after the original series end. Would love this whatever format they're releasing in.

RightStuf is one of the best places to get anime and are very competitive with Amazon most of the time. I've been ordering from them for years, and they have great customer service.

Viz is handling the new movies, and the first one is available to pre-order already...

DVD
BD

...if your looking for the original anime, it is here and here.

Also, if any of you watched Inu Yasha on Adult Swim and were left wanting to see an ending, Viz is finally releasing Inu Yasha: The Final Act on Blu-ray and DVD.

Yea i just watched it. Quite possibly the saddest anime movie i watched and the first anime to bring tears to my eyes. it hits you real hard emotionaly. I recomend also Shiki or corpse demon. Its also a very emotional and sad anime toward the end.
