Lol yep tell me about it...it's like trying to sneak in after a night out & the house seems to have had the volume turned up on everything ;)

Thanks Brendan.

Yeah I definitely prefer the Takara boxes over the Hasbro versions.
At least with the Takara ones I can open up & put back any time I like without wrecking them

Neil

I've definitely been there a few times :lol

Takara's color scheme for Masterpiece packaging is simple, but looks way more befitting for a high end Transformer than the tacky looking Hasbro efforts.

The black also matches quite nicely with my Billy bookcase from IKEA that I bought for my Transformers and I have most of my boxes on the bottom shelf although I'll have to do some rearranging once the Nissans start to arrive.

Don't think I've posted in here for a bit so to rectify that I have a mega post of piccies for you...

I got myself up the storage unit yesterday & came back with a few bits so for the first time the gangs all here...

Red Alert is now really conspicuous by his absence so I will be rectifying that soon but I really can't wait for the Nissan's to join the family.

And on top of that I really really can't wait to move to be able to actually get them on display

Neil

This pic makes me want cupcakes:monkey5 Sweet collection yo!

Guys, any of you PO soundwave from anime export? Its my first time POing from there, but a friend told me that there have been some complaints currently with them not responding to emails, sending goods etc. anybody know bout this?

Awesome! All of them still unopened, hehe. Looking forward to your display bro.

Thanks buddy :)

Only the Hasbro versions are still sealed...the Takara releases have all been opened, tinkered with & then popped away.

Pics of the display will come ASAP once we move into a bigger place :)

I'd lock those doors! :lol

Fantastic collection! :clap

Thanks :)
Oh don't worry they are well secured ;) lol

Lol not just me then :)

Yeah the simple Takara boxes look loads better than the Hasbro versions but I guess they do them like that so people can see what their £100 is buying them.

Lol didn't even see I'd left the doorstop there, it's to try & discourage my daughter from constantly closing the door but she's a strong bugger & just picks it & moves it :slap

I think a few people on here have used them before with no issues.

I hope everything is good with them though as I currently have 2 of the 3 Nissans on order with them & also G2 Sideswipe.

Fingers crossed.

Where did your friend hear of the complaints?

If it was one of the Transformers sites like TFW2005 I wouldn't worry as there's a tendency for people there to blow things way out of proportion if they've had some kind of issue.

Scaremongering is the order of the day and most of the time it turns out to be baseless....I've heard similar things about BBTS and Hobbylink Japan but my experiences with both were fine.

The Nissans will be my first orders with Anime Export so I'm intrested to see how things go in terms of how fast their shipping is, how well they pack the items and most importantly whether they'll make it through UK customs without getting an additional charge slapped on them.

soundwave,
In the case of MP10 Hasbro should have covered up the robot and only shown the trailer :wink1:

I've placed about 6 orders with Anime Export within the past year and have received four of those items in a timely manner when released. They've been nothing but reliable to me so far.

LOL :rotfl

I was in TRU yesterday looking at Acid Storm doing his best impression of a shelf heater & keeping everything warm & toasty when some guy with his boy was looking at the TF's & the Prime stuff (obviously) & then he picked up the last remaining MP10 & proceeded to go into one at how it was £100 for something that only turns into one thing, how could they possibly expect it to sell for that & put it back, he even went on to say it's nothing like it should be & it looks all wrong compared to the new figures.

I was just looking thinking you have no idea how much I want that to drop in price & you really are such a nob mate...that's exactly how they should look :slap:slap

I felt very much like enlightening him with a stick...something like this in fact - :thwak
But thought I can't be arsed lol

As soon as that shelf warming MP10 hits £80 or less he's mine!

TRU should donate all Acid Storm stock to Help The Aged as they can be used to keep the old folk warm in winter :lol

That guy sounds like the idiot parent I saw when the Classic Doctor Who figures first came out who said "Why is that called the 4th Doctor, there's only been two" ( meaning 9 & 10 ) :cuckoo:

If TRU ever drop the price of MP10 to something like 80p I'll buy one as I can use the front cab as a doorstop and the trailer as an emergency bunker for my gerbils :lol

Lol Acid Storm used as fire wood :)

I do wish people were more clued up on history of toys before they start dishing on them...although general Joe Public don't really care like we do, do they?

Ok, good to know. Thanks guys :wave

Hopefully some of us should start finding out soon as Prowl should be out this weekend :yess::yess:

True, but someone in the UK who's in their late 30's-early 40's not knowing about Doctor Who's existence prior to 2005 is kind of pushing it as even if the guy never had any intrest in the show the chances are that he would have seen or heard some kind of reference to it from another source.

It'll be great to get some news on Prowl, the last new TF I got was TigerTrack who turned out great but compared with Prowl a bit of a non-event as he wasn't an original G1 character.

I guess you're right I hadn't actually thought about that.

Yeah I'd love some more news like confirmation from Kapow when the shipment is due or something :)

Still I'm hoping in hand stuff starts appearing next week.

I happen to like Acid Storm.

Though, I'm just generaly a fan of the seekers.

I've no real issue with Acid Storm what irks me the most is that in the UK they didn't release 'Cracker but brought over Acid Storm.
'Cracker would have sold by the load IMO but Acid will sit around for a bit.

I actually would buy him if I knew we'd get the rest of the Rainmakers but as that's unlikely & based on his sales even if Hasbro US did pick them up to release there is no guarantee the UK would so I'm happy to go without & just stick with the original 3 seekers for my display

Neil

I can't believe Fort Max is already clearanced at BBTS/TFSource.

I didn't hesitate to finally order one:D Two of my biggest Grails in 24 hours, I need a break:lol
