Idk about you guys, but aside from Quakewave, I don't own any other third party TF product.

But this Metro is looking mighty fine IMO, and apparently Maketoys is working on Skorponok and Trypticon!

Color me really impressed! Been waiting for a proper representation of Metro and Trypticon for far TOO long!

But yeah, nothing like c a c a toys Jetfire. Because it's made by fans and stuff. And dat landing gear.

I want to like this version and for the most part it ticks all the right boxes but something about it is holding me off loving it. I think it doesn't convey the feeling that he's a walking city.

Okay, I didn't like the tint of the grey plastic, but for 60 bucks the Grimlock reissue is a damn steal.

Grimlock reissue = With Fans Toys confirming they're making a new mold and the possibility of Giga Power also making their own version who cares?

No Hasbro Bayformers 4 toys in Europe = Great! Can all copies of the movie and related promotional material be banned from the continent too?

MakeToys Metroplex = Looks way better than that scrawny POS Hasbro released and is somewhat tempting but it's not going to be a priority as I'll have several raccoon based collectibles to pay for in the coming months.

While I agree the FT Grimlock will be awesome, it definitely won't be sold for 60 bucks. I say if you can find one, get it!

Buying just because it's cheaper than Fans Toys makes no sense unless it actually looks nice, which it doesn't.

The color grey that's been used makes the MP08 mold look like a 3rd rate knockoff.

If it even reaches the UK it'll be £60 which at the current exchange rate is the equivalent of just over $100.

I paid £90 shipped for my original release MP08 when it was first released which at the time was the most expensive Transformer I'd ever bought.

If I didn't own it I'd either get one of the Takara reissues, the original Hasbro release or most likely wait for Fans Toys.
