won't be waiting around for Takara considering there could be license issues with Lamborgini for an official Sunstreaker

I thought it looked weird too but it seems accurate when you look at it from the front, it may just be the ear bumper not facing down that's making it look "weird".

That 3P Sunstreaker does look pretty nice... I might bite if Takara doesn't announce their own soon...

Only thing is you can never tell the quality of a 3P figure from pics alone... FansToys is the only MP-style 3P company I trust.

Scoria only started shipping to dealers a few days ago so in hand reviews aren't likely to become plentiful for another week or so.

Kapow said on Facebook earlier in the week that they were expecting their stock to arrive in 3 batches from Wednesday/Thursday. As of a few minutes ago there was no further update so it either hasn't arrived yet or they're busy packing orders.

Received my Scoria yesterday via BBTS

I'm not much into doing figure reviews only that I compare the quality of these third party transformers with that of the Takara Masterpiece and must say this figure is BRILLIANT!

This beast is HEAVY right out of the box you feel the weight. I think the upper torso of the figure is one solid piece of dicast! And they used dicast in the best places to give the figure stability.

Paint work is well done - no sloppy paint apps here

The only issue (not really a major one) is that the weight of the legs works a lot of stress on the hips when transforming. The hips tend to feel a little loose but like I said, you only notice this when you begin to transform the monster.

The box......the box is cheap. Clean, but cheap. It protects the figure inside well so honestly would rather the money go more into the figure than the packaging.

Some shots I took with my iPhone. Sorry for the lack of better shots - busy with work related projects and only had time to shoot these. Suffice to say I transformed him into DINO MODE immediately after taking him out of the box!!! If you purchased this guy, great decision! Now bring on the rest of them FT!!!

Any issues with loose joints specifically on the arms as I've read a couple of reports which have said that there's a slight issue in that area?

Not the arms - in my case they are pretty solid. My issue are the hips....but again, unless you have him suspended in a flying pose this will not be an issue.

Hopefully the reports I read at TFW are little more than the usual scaremongering BS that seems to occur whenever a new figure is released.

I hate when this happens for a new figure. Sure there's always QC issues with the first batch but reading so many paranoid posts gets kind of annoying after awhile.

Agreed. It's like all the bile that gets thrown about whenever a new Hot Toys figure is revealed or released.

It's one thing making people aware of a genuine fault but if we believed all of the alleged "issues" some people come up with nobody would ever buy anything

Voyager: Slog (seen, offscreen).

Exclusive sets: Farm Breakout (accurate Rusty Prime with DotM Crankcase and Generations Skids repaints), Autobot Team (core five Autobots with premium paintjobs in one set), leader set (movie accurate Grimlock and a new deco Optimus).

Generations:
Legends: Nemesis Prime (OP repaint), Cliffjumper (Bumblebee repaint), Thundercracker (Starscream repaint), Bombshell, Windcharger (Tailgate repaint),

Deluxes: Chromia (new mold, transforms into a lightcycle-type bike), Arcee (new mold, very G1, car).

Also, a pic of Megatron leaked. It's pretty much G1 Megatron as a tank, and at the leader size he should be a good stand in for a Masterpiece until the official v2 is released. Looks really cool too, just a shame about the short thighs.

If not for the insane amount of back kibble, that RC could pass for an MP figure. Megs looks OK, but not acceptable as a stand-in for an MP figure IMO. Not interested in the imported MPs unless they're new paint jobs or something.

Interested in the Voyager IGW Prime. I know there's a few out and none have really sold me yet.
