On Easter Sunday XTransbots reveal a character with bunny ears,

If it's like their Scourge I expect it'll have a Targetmaster.

Both show up quite a bit in the UK Marvel comics I've started revisiting recently so subject to final quality I'll get them.

If they're good then the number of figures Takara could intrest me in will be even smaller.

Woo! Looking forward to having all their 86 movie Decepticons.

I think MP Galvatron is inevitable at this point, whether it's XTB, another 3rd party, or even Takara.

Beyond that I'd be up for buying Kup, Blurr and Springer.

My favorite TF designs are the new ones from the 86 movie so I'm super down to clown with MP Galvatron, Scourge, and Cyclonus.

Galvatron is one of my biggest wants. Every leader has now gotten the MP treatment, except him. It's only logical. Or is it?

Come on Takara!

XTransbots Scourge test shot in progress,

There's even a place to put the Matrix in his chest and another panel that opens which I'm assuming is based on a cartoon episode,

Badcube Warpath gets closer to release,

An image which should put to rest any fears over how stable Apollyon is in robot mode,

MP05 barely managed to stand on two feet without collapsing, let alone do a pose like that.

Also, DX9 is coming out with an upgrade set for CW Megatron. Does hugely improve the look of it, even if you will end up with a useless pile of parts when transforming it. I dig it.

That does make it look better, still not right for a Masterpiece display but a decent alternative to Nerf Megatron or Hegemon in a Classics display.

The only drawback I see for UK collectors is the cost, the cheapest price I've seen for CW Megatron is £54.99 plus £3.50 or so shipping via Kapow Toys. The upgrade set will presumably be in the region of £30-£40 which would put the final total close to £100.

When a MP quality figure like Apollyon is costing £85-£100 with all those extras it doesn't seem right that something from the mass market line is costing almost £60 and needs an upgrade set to look it's best.

Scourge and Cyclonus in the works? You would think Galvatron should be close behind. I'm licking my chops.

Apollyon and Giga Power Snarl should be shipping soon and the Badcube Warpath looks great - too much TF goodness.

Yeah, some of these guys can get pricey, but fortunately the expensive ones get re-releases which keeps costs kind of low. Transformers is a totally nostalgia-driven line for me, though that's mostly the case for every kind of toy/statue I collect.

I just kinda did officially quit HT for the time being.
Many great things, but it´s just getting to costy and nothing I wish for is announced, or coming, so...off to transformers and specifially Combiner Wars and hunting down MMC´s Feral Rex.

Could anyone hook me up with a place with them for a decent price, so I do not have to hunt them down one by one on ebay.
TFSource doesn´t have them and I´m a new to 3rd party, so tipps would be greatly appreciated.

No chance it will be the next Quakewake, as Shockwave was a minor, forgettable character in the cartoon, and totally unnecessary on display. :monkey1
A forgettable minor unnecessary for display? He was the one that continued a four issue mini-series for over 7 years. He fought the Dinobots to a standstill, cleaned up all the rest of the Autobots then created the first combiner in Devastator, as well as Jetfire, and don't forget that space bridge. Not only that he turns into a gun that doesn't shrink. Without him Transformers are nothing. :monkey2

And dun forget that cameo in Aliens.

Groundpound you all!
