I love both Grimlock and Snarl/Slag...whatever you want to call him but both figures are undersized.

Grimlock should really be a Leader Class figure and Slag should be a Voyager. The sad thing is that Slag is the same size as Bumblebee. WTF!

Here's my main problem with the scale issues with these figures. All of these figures should be Leader Class figures. Grimlock and Lugnut are the same size as Bulkhead so all 3 should be the same scale. I really hope Hasbro reconsiders and does a Leader Class Lugnut.

As for scale, Hasbro makes their decisions about what class to use more based on what they think will be bought by the largest number of people, rather than on what makes sense. It's annoying, but understandable.

Voyager Prime will be here early next week.


Joel at BBTS knows I'm a hardcore TF fan so he always sets aside some of the new TFs for me.


The MOC pics of the 3rd wave of deluxe figures I got from my friend overseas but they only got here about 5 days before my 3 sets from BBTS arrived. My friend wasn't able to get me a Jazz which is why I had to wait till today for him. If you look closely Snarl and Oil Slick are on tri-lingual cards in that first pic. The only diference is that the back of the cards don't have the biographies on them. The bios are on the back of the instruction booklet. Also they don't have the DVD sticker on them like the Jazz MOC pics do.

The paint on that Magnus disappoints me a little. Hope the final release has better colors.

That Magnus is a proto so don't worry. I thought the Cliffjumper set looked rather bad until I saw it in hand.

I'm still looking for a GREAT TF board. It always seems that every TF board is full of idiots. It's actually nice to come here and discuss TF without all of the negativity on the TF boards.

I hear that the mini Megatrons and the Matrix will probably be part of a set of accessories. I hear a G1 Prime gun and Ax for Prime and a morningstar for Megatron could be part of the set also. I also heard a rumor about a sword of Grimlock.
