Just seen Gigapower have finally shown proto for their next Dinobot Graviter (Sludge)

Looks really good but Fans Toys still get it for me basically because they have nearly finished & GP have taken far too long to just get Sludge sorted.
The GP size is better than FT but I don't think FT look out of place with Prime or the others so they will be fine & we still don't know how GP will get on with the rest or even if they'll finish the line at this rate.

Will look forward to colour shots when they come through though.

Guys, I wanted to ask if someone has experience on how well the quality and all is on Jinbao´s Feral Rex Oversized KO?
I´ve seen this REALLY inexpensive on ebay.com yesterday and considering pretty hard on giving it a go, since another 500 for the original would be damn hard and Jinbao´s not looking bad at all...

Anyone?

Be cool if it kept that glossy, '90s-era CG look that the show had.

As much as I want to make myself like it, I can't get into that Badcube Sunstreaker. Something about it just doesn't speak to me, so I'm going to pass and hope someone does another one down the road. Seems like almost everyone else loves the guy though, which is great.

It's weird that I grow up more with BW than G1 but unless a BW Megs is made, I have no interest in Op.

I grew up with both and for me, the undisputed best Transformers show to date (not counting graphics) is Beast Wars.

This is a no brainer for me. I was happy with the updated 10th anniversary Optimus Primal, but this looks fantastic. Even the gorilla proportions look accurate to the show and he is able to stand in 2 legs! Though what I really wanted was a MP Optimal Optimus. That is my favorite Optimus version ever. It even has my favorite colors.

The latest "he tell me" rumors suggest that Megatron, Cheetor and Rattrap are also getting the MP treatment.

Only problem is the same guy was saying as recently as last week that Hound, Sunstreaker and Jazz were next yet now he's changed his tune.

Were I fan of Beast Wars I'd be taking such "news" with a large pinch of salt

That being said,

If those BW characters do actually happen then it'll give Fans Toys, Badcube and MMC a green light to do Jazz, Trailbreaker and maybe a decent Ironhide & Ratchet. That would be something I could very much get behind.

Finally got around to fixing my issue with the FT Tesla eye color. Just wanted a more G1 Cartoon blue. I think it really improves this piece.

I have to say I was leaning toward Fanstoys Sludge but this looks immense and sort of a no brainier seeing as I have GP Snarl. However, what's the chances of this seeing the light of day seeing as they haven't even shown final product shots of their Slag....

The transformation looks to be similar to the original toy.

Looks very accurate to the show.

I wonder if he will be in scale with the show. If he is as tall as the original toy, I guess that would be fine.

Yeah I'll believe that when I see them.

None of the alleged "insiders" saw Optimus Primal coming, so there's no reason to believe the latest claims until a render or grey prototype image surfaces to prove them right.

I do think Beast Wars Megatron is more likely than another gun Megatron because Hasbro will be using whatever influence they have on Takara to ensure the next MP Megatron can be sold in North America at TRU.

I've got nothing particularly against Beast Wars, I didn't even know it existed until I got back into Transformers around 2008 or so and haven't been curious enough to go and learn more about it as I don't really do cartoons and am struggling for space for my G1 stuff and 1:6 figures, so I don't need my TF collection to go off on any more tangents.

It's cool for people who dig it that they're getting at least 1 figure, but it's not like I even collect official Masterpieces any more so there's no intrest on my part.

Seems like they could just repaint Megs neon green and give him a big-*** orange plug, and then it would be acceptable for TRU. But maybe the design has to be different, like the Classics Megs was.

always a fan of seeing people do mods to stuff...

next time tho, save yourself a ton of time and money. you can get this done for about 80 cents and 1/4 of the time.

just pick up some testors enamel from michaels or hobby lobby... they have a color that is perfect for the g1 eye look. they are always running coupons so the bottle of paint will run you less than a dollar. simply soak the eyes in rubbing alcohol and remove the paint. then a couple thin / even coats of the testors on the eyes and your done. no need for primer and all the hassle with spraying / drying / taping / all the box setup etc. enamels dry tough and stick well to plastic. and they'll never be touched buried in the head. enamels also lay down flat if its not 100 degrees for an even finish. let dry for a day and you're done. much easier and massively cheaper.
