The Henkei Skyfire is a decent enough substitute IMO. I got mine last week and it's one of my favorite Autobots so far.

Jetfire was the only one of my original transformers who survived "the purge" that my mom apparently performed at some point in my teens (along with Huffer, who stowed away with some Hot Wheels cars). I still have him, although his armor is long gone.

Yep. Takara doesn't own the rights. Same with Shockwave. :


KO is has been trying to release a Shockwave figure for over a year now so there's still hope for him. The problem with KO is that they announce tons of stuff but don't actually release most of it.

I have a complete, original Matsushiro Jetfire with a decent box in storage. It is one of the rarer first release ones with the Macross symbol on it's wing. I also have a pretty decent Shockwave in box somewhere too.

KO is has been trying to release a Shockwave figure for over a year now so there's still hope for him. The problem with KO is that they announce tons of stuff but don't actually release most of it.

He speaks the truth, thus why I knew it was a good investment to pick up a minty complete G1 Jetfire.

I have a G1 Shockwave which is MISB in a C-8.5 or 9 box, and is the crown jewel of my Transformers collection. I actually have quite a few rare and neat MISB, MIB, MOSC G1 Transformers. I really need to start posting more pictures on these forums.

Eh, I still expect to see him reissued by somebody sometime within the next couple of years. As for the Henkei Skyfire, I have him on the way

I finally picked up the henkei Megatron for around $35. (Ironically, I couldn't find it anywhere in Japan either in stores or online when I was there, but BBTS had like 60 in stock at that point. Maybe they cornered the market...)

Yep, good price for him. Only reason I haven't bought him is cause I have the MP Megs, so to me, that's enough

Now Henkei Bumblebee and Hot Rod... different story. Good deals on those.
