Grimlock, Smokescreen and the badguy from M.A.S.K.
Miles Mayhem rocks!!!
I absolutely LOVED M.A.S.K. It was one of my favorites.
that Blackout is amazing!!!!!!!! seriously, if you are interested in commissions, I'd be VERY interested!!!
While I like Macross... 1. Doesn't hold a candle stick to Transformers, and 2. I'm sure we'll get the real thing inevitably.
Wow. Well then. Keep on dreaming. It is never going to happen. DEFINITELY not by Hasbro (they've said as much, and it's not worth their time and energy to fight off Big West, Bandai and Harmony Gold in court), and TakaraTomy would never be able to release a Macross VF-1 Valkyrie with an Autobot deco on it in Japan, where Macross is still very much alive and kicking. That would be like a company here taking an Optimus Prime figure, painting it in some odd paint scheme and trying to pass it off as their own. The Bandai 25th anniversary Valkyries are the closest you will EVER get to a reissue Jetfire. Period.

This is so freaking awesome!!!! i want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While you certainly "served" me with your knowledge on the matter, it still doesn't mean that we will never see a reissued Jetfire. So what if Macross is still popular in Japan? It's not like Transformers aren't.
So yes, i'll keep on dreaming.
Only reason Omega Supreme got reissued (and because Shockwave will as well, appearantly) is because the original owners don't exist anymore and the rights to the mold were up for grabs.
That's not true at all.
Back in the 80's, Takara/Hasbro accuqired the rights to use the molds from their original owners. The license to produce many of these toys have expired and Hasbro and Takara no longer have the rights to produce the figures.
The reason Takara was able to reissue Omega Supreme was cause they found out that they DO own the rights to the mold. The original owner of the Omega mold was a company named ToyBox. ToyBox was bought out many years ago by Tomy. Tomy merged with Takara in 2006 to form Takara-Tomy which means that Takara now owns the rights to the mold through Tomy. The Sky Lynx mold is the same thing. It also was originally owned by ToyBox which is why it was also reissued.
Shockwave was owned by a company named ToyCo that no longer exists. Takara has been trying for years to try to get the rights to the mold but with no luck.
