Got Encore Skywarp and Thundercracker today. I just love the Encore series. Even putting on the stickers is fun. These aren't my favorite G1 designs by a long shot, since you basically disassemble them rather than transform them, but they're still a lot of fun.

I also got these custom heads for Ironhide and Ratchet, but I'm not that impressed with them. They attach over the "heads" of the figures behind the windshield, but the fit is so tight that if you have the face sticker attached, they are hard to put on and the sticker gets kind of messed up. Plus they look like they cost about $0.05 to make. Not my best purchase.

The encore series has as much die-cast as the originals, I believe.

they're metal... all the encore, reissue, collection, etc. is diecast and plastic just like the originals.

Powerglide is the only decent repaint of the lot, blegh. Though Onslaught looks nice, too. But Silverbolt...Ugh, looks like a cheap KO with that white and red plastic.

My thoughts on the Henkei figures,

Sunstreaker= Excellent. For once the chrome isn't misplaced as the G1 toy had it in the exact same places and IMO it's the best of the Classics/Henkei Autobot cars so far. A definite buy.

Silverbolt = Decent. I like the color scheme in robot mode better than the Hasbro version and it's another one I'll be getting.

Onslaught = OK but I'm happy enough with the Universe version.

Prowl = Had Takara gone with some Japanese text on the sides like the Binaltech Prowl and not bothered with the chrome spoiler it might have been worth buying but I think I'll stick with the Universe version with the reprolabels added to it.

Powerglide = I really like the color but hate the mold.

I received the Animated Snarl from Elder_Predator2 this morning (Thanks Seth!) and despite it only being a Deluxe I think it's pretty cool.
If the stegosaurus Dinobot appears in season 3 I wonder what they'll call it?

I'm only getting powerglide from those 3 ultra figures. the silverbolt and onslaught dont do anything for me as characters. now if we got a superion and a bruticus that would be a different story.
