Good lord...don't tell me we're gonna see a repeat of the discussion on concept art that we saw with the first TF movie :lol

I personally like the design, and while not everything with the first movie's designs appealed to me, they worked very well on screen.

i just hope they don't feel the need to kill off any Decep/Autobot in the next movie. not cool.

:rotfl

See, this is why we shouldn't judge something based on the first tiny bit of concept artwork we've seen.

I like the head design...goes back a bit more to the earlier G1 styling for Transformers.

So it's blurr.......AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will so buy his figure!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the pics MANG AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rock

WHAT DID I TELL YOU? :lol Nah, the guy thinks it's Blurr. But from what I heard, this bot's name is Stinger, which is probably a codename. Same situation as Frenzy being called Soundbyte before the movie, or Blackout being called Vortex.

even if it aint Blurr, still, AWESOME!!!!!
I love the body design, just not the head so much, but I also felt the same way with all of the other Transformer concepts a few years ago, so I'm not worried, infact, I'll probably end uup loving the whole design. that's what happened with Bumblebee a few years back.

HEY!

I'll judge what i want from what I want, and if I see a pixel of another bot's pic, I'll say i hate it.:lol

I joke man, that's true, and something my mum tells me.

this is kind of a bad pic but i think this is the rest of that figure that goes with that head.

Looks like the same Bayformer garbage as before. I can only hope that someone else makes a TF movie in the years to come because I'm not wasting money on movies that spend more time with the human characters and have TF's that look so different to their original incarnations.

I think they'll live :lol I'm not big on the whole aesthetic with applying Bay's designs to the toys (Barricade and Bumblebee were all I bought), but they do work very well on-screen and for Hasbro. So much so that ALL Transformers were sold out of my local Wal-marts for *3 months* after the movie came out...that's pretty impressive.

Transformers change designs every year with the same characters. This is nothing new.

That's true enough,I just don't find the Movie designs at all appealing.
It's good in a way as it's one less toy line to find the cash for but I would have still liked to have seen a live action Transformers movie where the robots had a better resemblance to their G1 counterparts. All that "realism" BS that Bay goes on about is just an excuse for pushing his own ideas on the audience. When the film's subject matter is about an alien race of giant shapeshifting robots I don't think "realism" is a word that has any place.

With the exception of Megatron, who never looked quite right, I like the movie designs just fine. There have been dozens of designs for all of the major characters in the past. And the G1 designs fit into a cartoon -- most of them would look silly in a live-action setting.

Anyway, I'm sure Hasbro is happy with them, because they allow them to have another product line that is entirely separate from the others.
