UGH! I hate that mold and it looks even worse in yellow.
If Hasbro went to the trouble of giving Cliffjumper a new headsculpt I could be persuaded to buy another one though.

Last time I checked, Drag Strip is yellow, and looks exactly like that mold in his G1 form....

I know that,but I just don't like the mold whether it's Mirage,Dragstrip, Fracture or whatever other character Hasbro decide to repaint it as next.
The car mode is adequate but the robot mode looks way too scrawny and has a pinhead.

i wish they'd make a few more fresh molds. too many repaints just to get a new character. id be down for a cliffjumper if he had a different head than BB.

i heard a rumor that if we see any newcombiners they will just be the maximus combiners from the energon line repainted as G1. kinda lame IMO.

I read a bit of info on a TF site today that if true may be very good news on the combiner front,

It basically said that there'd been a Hasbro Licensing Summit in Malaysia where some of the toys for the next movie were discussed and as a result some characters are confirmed ( assuming the story is legit of course )
One of these was Devastator which would be a Supreme Class toy when fully combined
Other things mentioned in the article were,

The silver Corvette seen in various pics is Sideswipe
Megatron is getting a new Leader Class toy with his tank alt mode
A new Leader Class Optimus Prime mold is being released.
Ravage is in the movie

There's also another rumor for the movie that states Jetfire will combine with Optimus Prime to battle Devastator but I'll believe that when I see it.
I hope the news about the Supreme Class Devastator is legit as it could be one of the best TF's ever.

BBTS now has all of the new upcoming TF Universe stuff on pre-order.

Predacon Bruticus, Vector Prime, Inferno, Unicron (reissue), Cyclonus, Hound with Ravage, Maximal Cheetor, and Starscream (reissue).

Another repaint for the Universe line has been confirmed but it's a good one as it's Smokescreen.
There's a pic of it at the Transformers Collector's Club but I'm not a member so I can't log on and see it.
According to the descriptions I've read it sounds good,the color scheme is based on G1 Smokescreen as opposed to the Binaltech/Alternators version which is enough to sell the figure to me as I already like the mold.

Well, managed to snag a sealed on card Mirage...however the front part of the car has suffered some yellowing.....is there any way to get rid of the yellowing other than painting it? I can pick up a replacement sticker from reprolabels.....but the yellowing is damn annoying.

i might be switching away from the henkei line. i originally bought them cuz hasbros color schemes were so ghey looking(nerf megatron anyone?). but it looks like the new universe line is matching the colors better. that starscream is just as good as the henkei version and cheaper. im still hoping for a complete set of all 6 seekers from the new universe line. im not paying $300 for that botcon thrust and dirge.

I just pick which version I like best which most of the time tends to be the Henkei version but in some cases I don't like where they've chromed certain parts and I'll just get the Universe version.
