Just brought Leader Class Optimus Prie for $59.99 AUD ($51.43 USD) Awesome deal from Big W in Aust, it's usual RRP is $99.99. Anyway.. It one hunk of Transformer, not sure if I'm brave of patience enough to transform it. Anyway... As I was opening it up I can to the dreaded also annoying twist ties. 3 on the back two for thwe feet underneath... Not soo bad right? Well the motherfu*ker who tie these things twisted them then looped them around the knot!!! Suffice to say I went the chop-chop! I usually untwist them... But that was impossible to do... Bloody Arse Clown twist-tie tie-er!
I'm planning to repaint this baby Warhammer style... And if I can get a Megatron it's all on Baby!

Masterpiece Prime MP-04 for $222 shipped
Which one would you guys go for and why? I keep trying to talk myself into buying MP-04 but is the trailer really worth $70 more? I'll never have prime in truck form so the trailer seems a bit useless to me. What do you guys think?

Nash, if you think there's any chance you'd ever want the trailer, I'd front the cash now and be done with it, but if you're only ever going to want full on battle mode Prime, save the cash and get other Prime/Transformers merch.
I picked up the 10" Hasbro prime yesterday, it's a great figure, but it's not entirely film accurrate for toy sake, so I'm hoping for a collector version or some other company will make an exact figure of movie Prime.

lol Bardoon, I wouldnt disgrace my MP01 like that by using the cardboard.
I had an MP01 from Toynk, but it was defective, one of his leg joints was broken...so I sent it back for a replacement. Well guess what, they get my return but then tell me they are out of stock. They didnt even bother to put one aside for me. Then just the other day I order a new one from them, and today i get an email that they are again out of stock and their webiste isnt updated. What a bunch of morons.
So anyway, Im still trying to convince myself to spend $222 for MP04 and have the trailer sitting on my shelf or in the box.....

Get the Mp-04! It the whole kit and required - I'm wanting to get it but I have the Mp-01 - It's hard to track down the full trailer! Anyone know where I can get the Full opening trailer?

be careful because the 2nd release of the trailer does not have the battlestation...only the rear door opens. gotta make sure you check before you buy...here's what I mean:

Does that whole backpack unit stay on permanently or can it come off the figure? If it can come off, that's probably the closest to film appearance as Hasbro will get.
