personal choice. i have the short stack one right now because i wanted to go ahead and get megs but plan on getting tall stacked one later on. the short stack one is awesome but the tall stack is the ultimate version. although i bought the short one for $20 on clearance and the long one is over $100.

You can't go wrong with a $20 Masterpiece Prime, that's for sure. If I'm seeing the pictures right then it looks to be that the tall stack version also has the blinged out grill and the U.S. version doesn't. If so then I'd really like to get that one.

Well the more recent 20th Anniversary Prime doesn't look as good as the 'Masterpiece Prime' Hasbro did a few years ago (2004 I think) which I have. Although the 'Stacks are short they are shiny as well as the grill and other parts. The Red on the cab is much more vibrant and the color of the gun is better too. I'll take some pics give me a moment...

You can see in these Crap-tastic pics that the grill isn't as dull as the on the 20th Prime, the pistons on the back of his legs and arms, as well as the drums on the sides are 'blinged' out too. The Red of the cab is more vibrant and Primes rifle is black instead of great. Like I said, it may not have the long 'Stacks but it looks really good nonetheless.

I read somewhere back, before I was paying enough attention to save it and be able to go back and post it for you guys....that some Japanese model company (Bandai???) was making big working kits of some the movie Bots, and I wondered if any of you were aware of this? Or is it a rumor maybe?
I am wanting a toy or two from the movie, but don't like the way the in-store ones have too little detail. The statues look better. There's one of Bumblebee that is ok. (I don't have a ToysRUs, so I can't say other than what Walmart has...my limits...sucks!)

Anyway, a nice posable kit of the movie Optimus might be cool! If expensive...
Anyone heard of this? If so, any leads? Or is it a Hasbro only thing???

I really hope they do statues of these guys. Those toys just dont look good, the armor has been dumbed down and not as intricate.
