Indeed. It's a slight shame that he's not coming with the crown as it was originally going to but that won't take away my enjoyment of what's likely to become the centerpiece of my collection,it's the first TF I'm considering buying twice so I can display one in each mode.
I've just read some intresting news about the ROTF Devastator toy via a product list for the UK,
It will be SUPREME Class and will have a UK RRP of £99.99!!!
For that kind of money it better be packed with detail and have a crapload of lights & sounds.
How much is that in US currency?
According to XE.com it's just over $143.

My ideal Devastator would be a Takara Masterpiece version based on the G1 design but if this one turns out well enough in toy form ( I like the look of the design ) then I might give it a go.
I don't know anything about The Fallen as a character so I can't say whether it's a good design compared to previous incarnations or not.
It's got that Bionicle thing going on like a lot of Bayformers which I'm not really a fan of so unless the character really impresses me in the movie it's not one I'm likely to buy.

If Dev looked like that pic as a toy I'd be all over it... but I seriously doubt it will translate that well to a figure.

Don't like the look of that Devastator, it almost looks chibi in this shot. But who knows, maybe it's supposed to look like that and is just a gag completely taken out of context...That or they just put it in a crappy pose without depth. I hope that's the case, at least.
And yeah, the Fallen looks a LOT like a Bionicle toy, and not in a good way. He does look very apacolyptic though, and the 'fire' element is a great touch and works even better then on the original.

150 dollar pricetag. Barely taller then Starscream. Simple transformation. And now barely any diecast, appearantly...I love the sculpt and the look of the figure, but damn, the more I hear of it the more I think it is horribly overpriced. Almost makes me want to wait for a cheaper Hasbro version...Not that big a fan of chrome anyways, unless it's on stuff like grills and bumpers (Henkei Convoy FTW).
It should also keep international shipping costs down a bit which is always nice!
