Did you use any kind of tape to cover parts you didn't want to paint?
Got the final work on the swords done, and detailed his head, since i noticed his fins and panels were missing the silver details he should have.
Swords were removed by unscrewing the forearm and wrenching them out, they have a long plastic peg with a metal stud plugged in the end which is what holds it in the arm, and a spring wrapped around the peg. Removed the spring and the stud, and wrapped the peg in a rubber strip, so now the peg can be plugged tightly into the hole on the arm and the swords are on, or pulled out and he's clean and free.
Paint on the swords was same as his other metal parts, black base silver drybrush, some light silver drybrush on some of the base swords parts to bring out the details and thats about it.
He's pretty much done now i think. Now i gotta do sideswipe and find me the rest of them, like skids and mudflap.
