I know, I'm thinking if Takara keeps doing this Frenzy_rumble will be out of business.
I don't think it does, but I hope it does. Although I thought I read that he doesn't come with one. Wouldn't be that hard for some to make one or just swap the head etc.

Damaging the sales of the more overpriced customs like FR's could be one motive for why Takara have delivered a paintjob which even by their usually high standards is phenomenal.
All the Hasbro defenders at TFW tried to make out the first one had perfect paint apps and that all the non painted bits were the right color plastic yet Buster Prime proves what idiots they are

Pfft you can say that again! You did nothing but moan like Victor Meldrew when leader prime came out.
Hopefully they are feeling very ripped off indeed.

lol yeah, such morons are the people who use TFW (Most of them are anyway), the mods aint much better.

I said most and i was referring to the people who defended hasbro tooth and nail and called my friend an idiot for complaining about the lame paint apps on the normal leader prime who has now been proved he was right because Takara showed all these morons how it should have been done thus proving them all wrong.

But, the Japanese releases are always better, its nothing new..henkei line is a good example and most of the vintage re-issues in the book style packaging.
Tell that to the sheep at TFW who thought hasbro did the best job with their original release.

I would not go as far as to call them that, bottom line..if you want to pay more for a imported Optimus with open face plate,guns and better paint apps then go for it if you are crazy about the character in the movie or his design etc..if you wanted the closed faceplate then go with the regular, and i think casual fans of the character wanting to pick one of these up should get the Hasbro version for starters.
I am only collecting a few deluxe currently and will be getting HA Sideswipe and thats about it i think. This line is good but, the appeal is wearing off.
Get HA bumblebee instead dude, he is awesome. HA sideswipe is okay but he looks a bit iffy. BB is just perfect though.

I have HA BumbleBee already, posted pics back in this thread..its pretty nice.
Oh sorry, didnt know. I love him, i just got one after having to wait to ge the funds together. Ive wanted him since i saw the first leaked photos so you can imagine how pleased i am to finally have him and he's everything i have always wanted from a movie bb toy. Im my eyes he is just perfect as he is so close to the cgi render.
Thats why im a little disappointed by HA Sideswipe, but i'll probably still get him anyway as i like the HA line. Cant wait for Skids, Mudflap with agent Simmons and Barricade. I hope that since they are going to do a HA barricade they will do a HA Classic camaro BB.
Of course it isn't anything new but seeing how Takara's initial ROTF releases were pretty much identical to Hasbro's bar a couple of minor bits & pieces it was by no means a cert that any further releases of Leader Prime would get major improvements and nothing on the scale of what has to be the best factory paint apps on any TF.
My point was that the more biased Hasbro defenders were claiming that the original Leader Prime was already PERFECT so when the first pics of Buster Prime appeared they were quick to write it off as being a custom done specially for that toy show as they didn't want to believe someone other than their beloved Hasbro could do a better job.
As it works out Buster Prime will only cost me £15-£20 more at the most than the official UK RRP for the original which at £44.99 is almost double the US & Canadian price so given a choice between a Greyformer or something that genuinely looks Masterpiece quality there's only one sensible option.

And just to clarify these were the people i was calling morons, not the whole userbase of TFW.
Do any of you know when these new ROTF figures will be coming out?
I'm itching for the Leader Class Starscream and H.A. Barricade.
No release dates have been confirmed yet. We havnt even seen what they will look like yet, apart from a couple of low res blurry phone pictures.
